This game is novelty

I was a little confused at the angle of the placement camera but loved the cutscene and concept! Felt satisfying!

Cute game! Art was friendly and I really liked the spinning cups

Thanks for the feedback, I will make the player a bit faster, and enemies kind of come from random areas so there's no actual predictability

Thanks! Here's the submission! https://itch.io/jam/gamedevtv-jam-2024/rate/2748245

Really cute art and fitting sound effects! Controls felt smooth and was a good learning curve! Nice job

Yay I won! Everything felt nice, jumps made it over the big enemies! and ladders were cool! When I lost the game seemed to have froze or just didn't restart. Hope you had fun during the development!

This was such a fun learning experience! SOOO many dumb little bugs and tricks used :D

I had the wonderful privilege of participating in this game jam and stayed up until like 5am. I still wanted to leave room for polish at the end which is something I haven't been doing, and I can say besides minor bugs or tweaks, it feels great finishing a game. You really miss like 60% of game dev if you don't finish something, so much goes into things you don't even think about. You can polish forever and something can always be added.

I hope you enjoy and I can't wait to see what everyone created!

I love this game it's so cute and feels complete, very smooth!

Will do! Thanks for trying it out

I plan on actually finishing it after the jam, but yeah the merchants were supposed to sell and you would've repaired your ship and left the planet

Yeah we did big time haha

very challenging but well put together! nice job

This was super addicting! perfect balance of stress/strategy, very nice controls and I lasted 4 minutes until the line stopped moving, unfortunately even though my cashier had money, two customers overlapped and caused the line to fill up. Amazing feel and great job!!

The fact you made this within 72 hours is astonishing! Such a cute interpretation and music sounded nice, good pressure too!

I love the concept, and the sounds effects and abduction feels really tight and fun!

It felt hard to run and attack enemies at the same time, I also noticed the camera pans while the game starts so sometimes the aliens get a head start, but nice UI and mechanics :)

It was cool to play the game in quiz form! felt whole and consistent. nicely done

Honestly super creative!! Felt nice and polished and perfect learning curve nice job !!

Thanks so much! I'll check your game out as well :)

The mouse controls rotation! sorry for not mentioning that thanks for playing!

I love the concept! Earth blew up which was funny but couldn't figure out how to learn what to do

Thanks so much for your feedback! I'll take a look into that character issue!

I loved how the mechanics worked once I got the hang of it! Very fun seeing your base grow. Well done!

I really liked the art it felt so authentic! This would be a hit on gameboy! Nice job :)

The sound and music was very fitting, and the art was nice and polished, although I got lost when I started and didn't know if the enemy was shooting me but I couldn't shoot them by the looks of there being the house collider in the way so my bullet would hit air

Really nice music and sound effects! Felt nice to play. In the future would be cool to add a couple more features to the player or powerups! Nice job :)

I'm glad! Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks so much for the feedback! I will upload a version without the spores in the doorways, and polish up the multiplication system so they continually grow!

Happy to hear you enjoyed playing!

Such a great game, it feels nice! The elbow mechanic is so creative and cute, I love the feel of this game and the challenging puzzles. Very well made!

Cute game! I loved the palette you chose! And cats are always great!

I couldn't stop smiling playing this game is felt so authentic and had every little detail in it to feel whole! Great job

Really cute idea! However I didn't feel it was too much of a gameboy game since the mechanic follows the mouse, maybe have the D-Pad move the character, B to rotate and A to shoot. Great job!

I loved the art of this game!

The act of pumping doesn't lower your health actually, but the oxygen goes down 1 every sec. I probably should've mentioned that somewhere In the dialogue

Thanks so much for the feedback! I'll try your game out as well :)

I would love to have him as a pet! Maybe I nthe future different planets could have different pets
