How does your game fit the theme?
Our team chose to interpret the theme “Diving Deeper” metaphorically, and opted for emotional storytelling through narrative, audiovisuals, and mechanics as our game’s core pillar. The player dives deeper into the character’s subconscious in order to reconstruct their memory: an omniscient narrator guides you as you navigate a liminal world. Take on the form of a raven, representative of the protagonist’s soul, as you dive deeper into yourself and uncover the mysteries of your own mind.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
- Everything you see in the game is made from scratch, barring some of our 3D environment assets, and the fonts. All were downloaded for free.

The overall design, art, and sound to this game was excellent. The gameplay needs a little bit of balancing, but it was very fun.

Very Nice! Who evers voice that is should go do voice lines for triple-A games like God of War. Love the Audio. The gameplay is nice. The music is nice. I enjoyed.

Developer

Thanks, that's me! I do roleplay heavy D&D for hire, but have neve done VO work at this level! Appreciate your comment, that made my day!

Played to the end! I really love how minimal and put together the visual style is. Voice narration was a great decision too

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much! The voice narration took a lot of combined effort, and I even made a makeshift pop filter out of aluminium foil and nylon tights lol! #JustGameJamThings

Ok, that's my favorite game so far. Great graphics, great colors, great atmosphere, great voice acting, great game feel,  great sounds and music, great interpretation of the theme... I mean I really don't know what to say, I love this kind of deep story-driven games, especially with these difficult themes. Congratulations!

Developer

Oh that means so much, thank you so much!

beautiful game with good sound design + i love the fact that texts are voiced, really atmospheric.
would be great to have more enemy types, but for such a short time for development this is a good result!

Hey cool game I liked getting the different memories to get the new abilities, you could definitely adapt on this game add different enemies and more abilities too! :)

Spicy game, the narrative was fire, art looked great! I was kind of disappointed the last ability was jumping and ended there but overall GREAT game.

Developer

Thank you, we love a fire narrative :D

The game gave me a very “classic” feeling, which made me enjoy it a lot. The story telling was amazing, the game kept me entertained the entire time and kept me wondering what would be next. Loved the mobility of the game and the storytelling gave a lot of depth to the game, which I believe matched the game jam theme perfectly!

Really nice work! I love the music and atmosphere so much! I think the story was interesting and the voice acting was really well done. I think my only area of improvement would be to have the enemies show where they're going to spawn a bit before they do it, as opposed to just instantly spawning without much warning, because I kept running into them immediately when they spawned. Really good game though and probably one of the best I've played so far!

Developer

Thank you!! First time voice acting with this kind of scope / format. That means a lot :) Thanks for the feedback too.
