How does your game fit the theme?
There is a level which you go through forwards then backwards being chased by a storm, the forwards part is both before the storm and relatively calm.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I did not write all the code and made all the assets from scratch but I put all credit in the description.

Good game!! The movement felt smooth and heavy just like a ship. Liked the level design and the music was well made gives the pump needed xD

Kudos!! Made a great game. Just a bit more optimization to the movement so that it doesn't glitch when given simultaneous inputs

the ship movement is pretty darn good, and i also love the challenge of going the whole level on reverse after you go thru the first time. very nice game!

Nice! I don't necessarily agree with the comments on movement. It's tough to get ship movement that works logically but isn't annoying. I feel like you nailed it ^-^ It complements the gameplay. I definitely died, but I never felt like it was unfair or too hard. Overall, good job!

Great game! The controls were a bit funky but the art was cool and overall a pretty fun game, nice work :D

Liked the game! After a while with the storm chasing it became very hard, but still great job, I also liked it graphically!

I quite liked the momentum based movement, although it felt strange when I hit a wall. Otherwise I feel that the game was well balanced, the storm maybe could have been a little faster as I never had to worry about it.

Overall great game!

Thank you for the rating! I completely agree on the wall collision. It was my first time working in godot, and I ended up using a movement system from online that didn't completely fit the game.

While the controls did feel quite rough, I thought the level design did a good job of ramping up in the first half. I appreciated the frequent checkpoints, they made me feel like I never had to redo tedious sections. I did get to a point near the end where I had to go side to side and after respawning at the checkpoint, but I'm not sure it would have been possible to complete with how close the storm is after the respawn. Other than that, this was a simple, yet enjoyable little project!

I appreciate the comment, as it was my first godot project, I ended up using a movement system from online where a custom made one would have definitely fit it better. I agree with your point about the side to side part. If I had more time, I would have definitely balanced the storm better.

Great game! I love the ramp in difficulty of having the return back be faster from running from the storm

thanks for the comment! Your game was incredible

Cool game, I got the treasury and was chased by the storm cloud, however the controls feel very frustrating

This game was really cool. I did run into a bug at the very end where I kept dying even though nothing was hitting me. But everything before then was very enjoyable, good level design, good game design and quite fun. Nice work
