How does your game fit the theme?
The idea is about a bird trying to get back to it family without getting hunted but each place it visits it gets more dangerous than the places before.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Assets and code were all made by me, music/sound has been credited in game.

Good concept, but couldn't get past the first level because of bugs
i really liked the concept! my only feedback is that the spotlight very unnoticeable. Other than that its a good game!
very fun idea ! I'd be horrible as a bird apparently...

This was super cool. I am color blind so this was a bit of challenge sometimes, but I enjoyed it a lot anyway!
You’ve got a winning formula here! I really enjoyed playing this game. I’d love to offer some criticism, but honestly, there’s nothing to critique. Sometimes, simple is best, and this game perfectly demonstrates that with its elegant and addictive gameplay. Well done!
I found it to be very original and fun! For being your first game it is very good, the game design works perfectly, and the game loop is engaging. Perhaps the art can be polished a little by adding visual effects, but overall it is a very complete project.
Great job! :D
Very cool concept! Having to be in an area with the same colour as you while avoiding the hazards results in a very fun and unique gameplay experience. The visuals are very well drawn and the audio selection fits the game well, improving the game's atmosphere. However, I wish you weren't forced back to the beginning of the game when you get shot.
Still, for your first 2D game, it's solid 👍
Reaaally original, haven't seen anything like this before! I think it would be nice to be able to change the direction of flying anytime we want, not just in the sides of the screen. Sometimes it was hard to find the right color, but that may be just my skill issue :D Pro tip, when playing the wing flap sound, when I spam the button, the sound gets cut and then it plays a new one, where instead it should still be left to play the rest, but create another sound on top of it, both being played simultaneously. So in Unity you would probably just create another audiosource with the same sound, play it, and then destroy it when it's done playing (I'm guessing using a prefab). But hey, as a first game in Unity, great job!
Really creative premise for a game. I got used to the controls very quickly too. That death screen had me shook though...
Cool mechanics! I thought it was a little frustrating trying to escape the obstacles with the limiting controls, but maybe I'm just bad lol. Good work!
Pretty cool mechanics, even though it took me a while to get used to it because I'd still die for some reason.
Hope that you'll also play mine :) https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/2973690
Rreally cool concept, I liked it! I wish I didn't have to start all the way back from the beginning every time I failed.. But I still had a lot of fun!
Very nice camouflage cameleon game!
I think I’ve spent long enough on

’s colour palette to really get a good vibe out of this. To be honest… never thought that you could make a game out of this concept.I kept on pressing the arrow buttons out of muscle memory, to kinda guide the little birb to where I wanted it to be. Sometimes the moving target would spawn directly besides me and zap me down like a poor duck in Duck Hunt. Hell, even the SFX kinda reminded me of it.
With graphics, ehhh… sometimes even the colour matching algorithm was a bit off. I swear I hit the right kind of blue but got zapped anyways. Maybe it’s something on my monitor (which I don’t think, cause it’s one of those made for graphic design work) or just skill issue of mine. Maybe needs a bit more playtesting with the collision areas visible to check if the AI is resolving the colours wrong.
In terms of looks though… it has a strong early web/Flash game vibe. Like something that I would do on my free time after school and have a blast doing it. I kinda miss those days, to be honest.
The innovation on the theme, though… that was very creative in my book. Completely out of left field. And I’d looooove a full game that’s just camouflage but with ever increasingly close shades of Pantone. Is it coral pink or salmon? dunno but you better get your colour wheel memorised.
The zap did scare me. Like a whip to my ears. I did get startled. Should’ve lowered the volume on my end. oops.
For a short little experience, it’s one of those games I’d fire up while Photoshop (or Affinity) is beach-balling and just to have fun at the office. And, you know, there’s huge value in those games. They’re in the end the ones that get played (and have, often, lasting good memories) for many.
Really fun concept, gives the vibe of old browser games: short, fun and on point! Would be great if you will add some save between levels after the jam. Amazing work!
interesting concept, cute art, cool camouflage mechanics
I really enjoyed the concept of the game! The camouflage mechanic was fun and added a new layer to the gameplay. The only thing I would adjust is the difficulty of controlling the bird's direction. Overall, it was a great experience—well done!
This is such a cool game!! I can't believe this is your first game, it is a really great concept and fun controls to boot! I didn't experience any bugs. Great job!
This was a unique experience! I found it sometimes challenging to figure out how to aim the bird in the right direction. Overall, well done!
