How does your game fit the theme?
The game is about protecting a village from harsh storms, by nurturing trees when the weather is "calm".

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes. LorinczAdrien wrote the code, SaroltaMihaly created all the assets, beside a single sprite, which is linked in the credits.

Really great game! The introduction was nicely done and controls were pretty simple! Really liked the combining branch to make stronger branch mechanic. Though would like some sort of in game tips to tell how each branch holds off the storm

Had a great time all things considered!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed it!!

We thought about explaining it a little, but felt like we already did too much exposition :D, but yea it can be frustrating to see the branches fall without knowing why.

I like the concept! The best strategy I found was just growing one branch, strengthening it, then growing it some more. That single branch held out the entire storm! I wanted to combine branches before sticking them on the tree, but without that ability there a bit more challenge.

Developer(+1)

Haha, that strategy is still a little OP, we tried to nerf it a little bit, but I guess it wasn't enough :D.

Thanks for playing our game!!

I love the game concept! It’s has a very simple idea, and a clear vision. Plus I save the village with a score of 66 :D It could maybe use a bit more juice, but I don’t really see anything bad with what is there. Great job!

Thanks for the feedback, glad you had fun!!

A very cute game! The art is amazing! I really liked the story telling at the start of the game! I think I didn't understand what I did wrong when my branches fell after the storm, but I saved the village at least :) Well done!

Sarolta did all the art and made the intro! She's amazing!

We're getting a lot of feedback, about the not-explaining of the branch mechanic as well, we will post a patched version after the voting ends.

Thanks for playing :D

Real cute and simple game, but I didn't understand how the scoring and the wind works though it doesn't ruin the experience, I still got to the end.

Developer

Thanks for playing and the feedback!

Should have explained that better :D, or at least tried to.

Submitted(+1)

Still not sure what the logic of wind was, at first i thought it's physics-based, but now i'm not sure.  Nevertheless. it's a short and chill game, very good!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

We could have explained better what makes a branch a good branch :D. It's simple now, but we planned adding a physics-like improvement, where if a branch is supported by multiple branches, then that branch would become stronger, that would be a little more intuitive.

It was a very fun play! It reminded me of World of Goo a little. Excellent job!

Developer(+1)

Glad you had fun!! Didn't even think about the similarity until now :D (maybe because this is an organic theme).

Thanks for playing!

Win with score 46.

Game had nice calm atmosphere. I didn't get what affects when branch falls or not, I just build one large one and still won. But great game overall.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing and feedback!

The branch falling system is quite simple, if you place a thinner branch on a wider branch than it's sturdier then if you would do the inverse, and the current branch inherits the strength of the parent branch.

We could have explained, but I guess we wanted people to have fun guessing :D.

Also needs balancing
