I actually laughed out loud when I died the first time.  Fun animations.

If you talk about boat destrucion effect, I personally think it's one of the best features of this game 😂. Thanks for playing! ❤

Lots of fun, very fluid and satisfying gameplay once you get the hang of how things work. Well done!

Thanks for playing, glad you like it! ❤

Is that a motherfreaking Vergil™ reference? Beyond fighting a storm, is a surprisingly chill experience, both fun and funny. Steering the ship feels at the same time smooth and snappy. I really enjoyed it, awesome job!

It indeed is 😎. Thanks for playing and your feedback!

WOW ahaha I had a lot of fun! Only comment I have is that there is no real Calm Before the Storm, instead Storm-Chan is not chill at all AHAHAH! Well done, love the camera work too, great game!

That's great to hear! Thanks for playing and feedback ❤️

I love the game. Really nice controls too.

Don't forget to rate mine also, thanks.

The controls are super smooth, which I really like! This game extremely polished and well made too. I actually didn't know what the wind currents increased your speed did until reading your description, maybe some extra VFX could sell this a bit better.

One last thing is that I'd somewhat struggle with depth perception, particularly when telling how far away lightning would be from my character - but it wasn't game breaking or detracted from my enjoyment. This is a great game!

Developer

Thank you for your feedback. VFX are a part of game development I'm not particularly familiar with (yet, I hope). I'm glad you still liked this game! ❤️

it would be so good if it had sound effects.

This game was really fun. It fits the theme so well! It's peaceful yet actually kinda tricky and heart rate rising xD I loved how I really got better as I played more and it was't the same route every time.

Developer

Glad you liked it. Also, I really appreciate that you've noticed a clash of calmness and the intensivity, because I'm quite fond of it myself! Thank you for playing and your feedback ❤

The game was really cool! The cursor got a bit buggy when I was going very fast but overall it was fun. The boat sensitivity could be a bit higher to make it easier to controll but I could finish the game on the second try so it was well balanced. I can see the game more expanded with more atacks, the boat having more life. Again, really good game.

Beautiful relaxing sound. I enjoyed the mini game to fly through the yellow circles a lot.

Apperently mid game  the mouse controller was snapping on something that made it hard to navigate. But I could not replicate the issue in my 2nd run.

Developer

I'm sorry to hear that your game was interuppted by a bug. I didn't encounter this issue myself, but I'll try to look into it after the jam. Thank you for playing and for your feedback ❤
