You cook food for Zeus, who is the god of thunder.
also, the game builds up to a big boss fight in the end of the game, so the rest of the game is basically the 'calm before the storm"

yes, except for most of the sound effects, which we downloaded from pixabay.com.
everything else we made from scratch.

Needs more button prompts or some kind of audio visual feedback to indicate something has happened as a result of an input.. The sigh was confusing, I saw I and V.

Petville (Brackeys Game jam 2024)pretty cool game! it was straight to the point with theme as well and had a nice gameplay...
what i can say could get better was the cooking system, i tried cooking the 2 rice thing but i accidentally was using salt instead of rice so, i think it should have had an indicator of what ingredient we have got and a trashcan for when we get the wrong thing....
aside from that, i really enjoyed the game! it was fun!

Cloudy with a Chance of MonkeysVery fun, each mechanic added for the day really keeps you on your toes. Once I hit the merging station it was very difficult to keep Zeus and myself fed. Great Submission!

This game is a true gem of familiar innovation! The graphics are stunningly adequate, and the characters? Absolutely there! Every moment feels like a thrilling repetition of something you've probably done before. The controls are so responsive, they almost predict what you didn't mean to do. The story weaves a tapestry of clichés that somehow feels... refreshing? It’s an unforgettable experience, especially if you have selective memory! Truly a must-try!

I like the idea, especially combining a calm cooking simulator with the big boss fight haha. I actually was really stressed cooking though! I did notice a small bug where I could make pita with dough and salt instead of two dough like Zeus said.
