How does your game fit the theme?
You try to save your home land from invading forces that are preparing their ultimate weapon.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All the code was written by me while the music and sound effects were free and gotten from Pixabay

Game really has potential but I was lost and didn`t know what to do most of the time also background could be more interesting. Overall good platformer!
The sounds and graphics are pleasant, at the first level it is somehow not convenient that the platform collapses at any contact, I just touched it from the bottom by accident and it disappeared (and so I liked the good game:3
i love how the gate keeper said "halt, who are you?"
and then squary just ran past him XD
it was a nice game, it crashed when i defeated that red boss for some reason though
but i enjoyed it and loved the lighting effects in it!
The end was quite cool, I liked the narrative for sure! I think you made a bunch of good design choices.
Feedback:
- The jumping sound got annoying a bit quick. Its nice that it is different for different heights but doing a slight random pitch shift on each or having a few sounds would have made it more enjoyable. In the end it is the sound you will maybe hear hundreds of times haha
- The laser guys were cool, I enjoyed that they forced you to move quick but I found them a bit unforgiving. It might have been better to have just a slight grace period before they started shooting.
- Not respawning disappearing platforms are almost always not a great design decision in platformers.
Thanks for the feedback. I tried to make the platforms respawn but it wasn't working in the right way but I'll be sure to fix it
cool game! loved the bossfight in the end!
Nice style and vibes!
Issue with controlling the square with keyboard so I used controller. I enjoyed the game and the small puzzles. Well done!
Thanks. I still don't know what is causing the issue 😕
Very nice, really liked the simple design and the square characters, the music was especially good. I was a bit confused as to what I needed to do most of the time but overall an enjoyable game!
Nice game. The art and design were very nice. Also check mine as well.
very good concept and story, loved it soooo much, solid 8 man, loved it, keep it up
Thanks, I'll make sure you play and rate yours
Could not get the keyboard controls to work. But I did get it to work with Gamepad, everything except the talking worked with it.
The platforming was good, but it was a bit frustrating at times. Because of this, it did not feel very calm, as I interpreted that the storm that was to come was the final boss at the end. I think the gameplay could have fit the theme better if it tried to strike that balance a bit more where the platforming wasn't as intense and then the final boss was hectic.
But overall I think the game functioned well and I did have fun and wanted to beat it all. Keep up the good work!
I'm sorry about that. This wasn't a problem when I was creating the game so I was unaware
For some reason I couldn't get the controls to work and got stuck at the start.
