How does your game fit the theme?
Game Starts calm and bright with a small amount of enemies on the screen. As the stages go on more enemies spawn and the map gets darker and more "Stormy"

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All the sprites and code was made by me. The only outside assets used were SFX and the BGM

Fun little game. For your first time this is great, keep it up!

I loved the feeling of flying in the sky. It was fun

simple but very effective gameplay loop! i like the idea of shooting out of either side of the ship with different button inputs rather than just one forward shot. really easy way to make the gameplay more unique!

I enjoyed the gameplay quite a bit! Very cool project, especially a first one? Great work. The audio was great and the upgrades felt impactful. My biggest feedback would definitely to make the enemy bullets more visible, as I took a lot of damage without releasing I was even in the line of fire of anybody. Great job submitting!

Quite a nice one! I love how the game gives you the limitation of having a cannon only on one side of the ship at the start, instead of the front, giving the player some innate difficulty.

i really like the idea of a bullet hell with a limited movement/shooting system like this, felt like there was more thought into moving especially, prioritizing positioning instead of dodging

i think some kind of limiting ammo system wouldve been a bit better, once i got triple shot i kind of just vomited bullets and took out a lot of the challenge

it wasn't super obvious when i took damage, some of the hitboxes felt a little forgiving when shooting at things and punishing when getting shot at

really satisfying bullet shooting noises with some epic music in the background was great!

i thought the theme was a bit loosely applied, but an upgrade system is hard to design and balance in a limited time like this so understandable.

great work, good implementation of a simple concept, very fun to play!

Good, simple fun. I really enjoyed it. Nice work!

I concur with what the other person said about an automatic shooting mode, that would be an awesome upgrade.

Nice game! I liked the unique controls, and had a good time taking out the enemy ships. My only real feedback would be to have an auto shoot upgrade, because my hand got tired clicking so much! Nice work on this one!

Classical survivors-like game, not bad, enjoyed it!

I really liked the game, it was fun to fly around shooting at the other ships.  Although, I think it would be more engaging if the upgrades dropped from the enemies. Overall great game ^^,

unique controls

Congrats on finishing! A fun little game, but I worked out you could just spam your cannons on both sides, it might have been better if there was a cooldown, or another reason not to spam cannons.

But still, well done!
