How does your game fit the theme?
Multiple planets are slowly being taken over by powerful space storms, and it is your job to calm them down.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Almost! The music track is not ours and we used a preexisting asset for stars, outside of that everything was done by us!

Gameplay is GREAT! It is REALLY GOOD. I'm sad UI didn't get some love gameplay did. Voice Acting is immersive. This is such a great game! Only bad thing I'd say about your game is that I personally don't buy your interpretation of a theme, but it's subjective.

Nice game! Simple, yet super fun. I enjoyed the variety of attacks you came up with :) with the amount of bullets that I had onscreen, I think it would be helpful to have an cursor marker, because I lost mine several times hahaha Great game nonetheless.

Nice game, easy to get into the flow! Liked the voice over, the girls voice could have been louder.

Great stuff!

Nice game.

  • Cool graphics, special effects, sounds, and voiceover. Rocket trails and thrusters in particular were cool.
  • Space ambience was good, with suitable music.
  • Liked the enemy designs with different attack patterns and “tells” that you have to learn.
  • Restart from the same point on death was a bit surprising, but definitely helpful.
  • Died a few times before I learnt a tactic of using the nuke, orbiting and avoiding enemy projectiles while the nuke reloads, then repeat.
  • The boss was particularly difficult and well designed.
  • Got to the point where I hear “you’ve done us proud”. Would have liked an end game screen.

Well done overall!

Really clean art style, good work!

I love the game! It looks like an improved version of one of my own games (Symbinode is in my profile). The SFX and VFX are really well done. Great job!

Thanks for playing!

Also the character art in symbinode is fantastic!

Really like the sound of projectiles, lol. The game is fun, but maybe battles could be a bit faster, just to my liking.

Really enjoyed it, a bit confused with how the special abilities were supposed to work, and performance was also a bit laggy and unresponsive, overall really liked the gameplay and concept

Thank you for the feedback!

Regarding performance, did you play the web version or the windows version, and what gpu does your computer have? I'm not sure if I'll keep working on this but I'd love to have a reference point for performance to keep in mind for future jams! Again thank you for playing and leaving feedback!

Was playing on the web version, GPU was GTX 1650. I haven't tried the windows version but I think it would've definitely been a better experience
