How does your game fit the theme?
It's about a town preparing for a storm threat.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes. I used Godot with the Dialogic plugin, Aseprite for the pixel art, Corel Painter for the title screen (was originally meant to be a placeholder...), and Musescore for composing the music.

Okay game. The discussions and logic required to convince people to go to the shelter were executed well.

Edit: I was muted somehow and did not realize your game did have music.

I really loved how every character got their own personality. Trying to save the cat is the only reason I made it back to the shelter in time haha, great work!

cool game, I saved the cat nothing else matters, haha. Charming pixel art

I really loved some of the little touches in this game.  Having the player input their name is really nice, the keyboard sound when text is playing is wonderful, and I liked how the music track evolved as the countdown got closer to zero!

RIP Kevin though, I saved everyone but him.  Is it possible to save him?

I did give an emergency kit to one person, but then convinced them to go to the shelter instead.  I'm wondering if that wasted the kit?

Awesome job!

Kevin died for me too, even though he had an emergency kit, though Kathrine survived even without one. Guess she at least was taking the storm seriously.

Nicely done! The game's main strength is how it's clear what to do, what it takes to succeed, and the take on the theme is great. (I saved everyone except Kevin, bruh) What I would work on is the artstyle to make it more cohesive, and some details/polish about the gameplay (for instance, normalize the input to avoid moving faster diagonally, this is a classic bug like in the old doom). Overall, a cool chill game!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I definitely want to work on the art more, because I did it all in a rush lol. And thanks for pointing out the faster diagonal movement, it can be easy to miss something like that.

Nice dialogue and atmosphere!

very comfy art style and music, liked it a lot. i also really appreciated the blue symbol on npc’s to show you can speak to them now, that stuff goes a long way!

most people died in my run, unfortunately x)

Hee-ho. Interesting idea

OMG I love the idea of convincing people about the storm 10/10

Tip: name your main character "idiot" to make the dialog x10 funnier :))

Well done!

I'm the only one who died, a true hero!

I just managed to save the kitten and myself couldn't convince anyone else. That's says a lot about my charisma :D . Really fun!

I wish i had this idea. It was super cute to do a game where we help people. Congratulations. I took the cat home XD.

Nice little game. I like the story writing.
I found the place far from each other without any reason (nothing todo on the way).
If you play again, it does not reset persons that are in the shelter, so houses are already empty.

Overall that was a good experience. Well done.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I wanted to at least add more objects like trees and cars so the town was less empty, but ran out of time. And I didn't realize it wasn't resetting the characters, thanks for letting me know about that.
