The concept is quite good and it's fun to mess around with the movement. However the mechanics and visuals definitely need polishing and there could be more audio than just gun shots.

Great game. I was finding it a bit difficult to control my movements. I  couldn't kill more enemies when i triggered the curse but it's still fun. Nice game

Thank you !! :)

Nice play on the theme. I feel like the controls could use some refining. I liked the idea of building the walls to control enemy flow but I could not really find a good use for it and placing them seemed a little confusing, but very cool game. Also machine gun flintlock go BBRRRTT.

Good Concept good 3d art but few physics concept go a little haywire sometimes also the aim assistance needs a little work but overall nice entry good potential

Do rate my Game as well

Good concept and level design. Bad collision detections and weird gunplay which can be fixed. Also noticed some audio bugs like press the shoot button too many times during cutscene and it triggers after the cutscene. Would have loved some background fighting between crew and the cursed beings.

For a jam I think it is a very good game and with enough polish it can be a really great one..

Kudos!!

nice game with great idea i felt there were some bad collisions with the ground the camera when the player sprints was a nice touch it would have been better for gun aimming and some sound effects for hit sounds and maybe animation for that flying head that hits me from mid distance and there is nothing make me feel he is hitting me ;D

ye and it would have been better for a slowmotion effect on the screen or smth like that :D

anyway good job its 7 days game jam at last

make sure to check my game :)

I really liked the concept of surviving on a cursed island—it's such a cool premise! However, I think the gameplay would be even better if I could move and shoot simultaneously. I also encountered some issues with the jumping mechanics and camera control that could use some tweaking.

Thanks for playing 🙂👍🏻

If I could move and shoot I would love the gameplay haha

The game definitely has a solid premise of a cursed island to survive on throughout a storm, but the issues quickly became apparent the moment I gained control.

The jump arc often changes for every attempted jump, especially when jumping off of the blue pads.

The map geometry holds precise collision that often leads to getting trapped in places I probably shouldn't be.

The camera is serviceable in open areas, but the camera movement hiccups abruptly when in front of any prop, even as small as a thin dock pole in the beginning.

The slow motion and wall abilities don't feel impactful enough to the game.

The shooting abruptly halts all movement, which is likely a balancing choice, but can often lead to quick awkward pauses when fighting back.

The gun's bullets seem to faze out at a certain distance for no apparent reason, even though I can see enemies and their health way further than I can shoot them.

Enemies (large zombies) often get stuck in terrain, especially on overhead arcs.

It is evident that this needs more time in the oven, so I hope these points can highlight the issues of this iteration.

Thanks for the review, I agree everything that you mentioned, thanks again!

Fun game with a cool atmosphere . I found that the character wasn't really point towards where the cursor was when firing the gun and the movement could use some work. Good job on the submission :)

Movements a little janky, no audio. But was fun and I like the pirate theme!

Edit: Turns out my headphone audio was off lol! Still could use some improvements imo!

Over all i think the game is good. But the audio is lacking and the movement might needs some work but the animations are great only the sound is missing
