It had a really great atmosphere and I really liked the mechanics. The 1st level with mushrooms felt like a little bit of a jump in difficulty for me but I really liked how the wind and lightning mechanics started working together. Really cool!
I like the little yipee sound when you throw trash away. Also the game play loop is pretty fun, I will probably be returning to play this game more. Great job!
I did the same as some others and ended up making a ridiculous menu that I struggled with lol but I really enjoyed it! Do you intend to add on to this after the jam?
Very deep and true to the theme. I did not expect to play such an emotional game this jam. I like how deep the moods ran like this was deeply contemplated.
Unfortunately I can not beat your highscore lol but pretty cool game. I do like how the world would change like the house disappearing and then trees appearing. that was cool. I do wish there was a tutorial or better feed back on actions you take ingame.
I am a big fan of art style! you had a really good take on the theme as I have seen a lot of games have a lot of the gameplay take place during the storm, yours takes place entirely in the calm and I like that.
Dude I am truly amazed with how sick all the assets are in this game. Great job! I think this is the most polished game I have played in this jam. The gameplay was fun and I liked trying for the other endings. Do you plan on adding on to it after the jam?
Nice play on the theme. I feel like the controls could use some refining. I liked the idea of building the walls to control enemy flow but I could not really find a good use for it and placing them seemed a little confusing, but very cool game. Also machine gun flintlock go BBRRRTT.
Thank you so much! We interpreted the Storm as being the outside. While anxiety can make leaving the house hard, or at least it does for me, the battle does not stop once you leave the front door, if anything it's worse. Taking those first steps of leaving your house though is what prepares you for facing those challenges in the outside world. In the end the character is still facing anxiety but with confidence that as long as they keep trying they can succeed. Also I am sure the artists on the team will be glad to hear you liked their work as well. Thank you for your input.
Solid game, I really like the artwork. Unfortunately I think I ran into a similar bug someone else did where I was hit by an invisible enemy a couple times. With only a week though, the assets and polish that are here is impressive.
