Nice game, I hate the bug... feature of swaping the keys, but at the same time I love it. Nice!!

Developer

Thank you - it's so satisfying to read that the love-hate relationship with that feature worked! :-)

Submitted

the game itself is fun, i found my self laughing in certain levels of the game. Overall nice game!

Submitted

Such a unique concept!

Man this is really funny. I really enjoyed the game, it is a nice twist! Also, I really like the fact that you guide the player with your voice.

Cool

Cool concept, it was fun to complete the game with all the 'features' XD

Lol, haha, I thought I found a real bug in level 3, and then the 'Level 3 completed' screen came up, but it didn't go further, like someone mentioned earlier. I was so confused, haha xD. That fit so well into it. This game is awesome :D

Developer

Thank you!

You are right - getting out of map was not exactly planned. But it kind of fits with the concept so maybe we can call it feature as well? :-)

Good work. Music was simple. I liked it.

i guess its the creativest game in this game jam

love the game. the art is really nice. but I think I found a bu I mean a feature with the boss level. I guess I died at the same time as he did and when I went to try again he was dead so I thought I could just walk to the end but then I just got killed by his corpse lol. when I respawned it seemed it fixed itself but the health bar ui was gone and when I killed him the game crashed. but other than that feature I enjoyed it!

Developer

Thank you!

This totally seems like unintentional "feature". Nice catch! And thank you for the reproduction steps (as a former tester I really apreciate it). I might try to fix that after game jam - I am too afraid to touch anything while its running. :-D

so creative game !!!! love the idea so much

Very funny and relatable!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! And nice to see a fellow crow! :-)

Super fun idea! I wasn't able to get our Godot game to run embedded on Firefox so that's wizardry enough to me.

relatable

I think this is a game that you will enjoy more if you are a game developer! Make me laugh so much! Great game!

Here is my review:

👉 The narration and the acting are great ; you can really feel the sentiment of a game developer trying to find excuses during development, and I love it. Also, the animations, assets, and tiles are simple, but they fit perfectly with the theme of the game (by this, I mean all the problems that a new developer might go through, and the art style, which resembles a kid's design, fits well with the idea of a new developer).

👉 Additionally, the music complements the game, and the fact that it was created during a game jam is a bonus point. Really good game, I hope this game will be highly rated.

(P.S. Why are there white spaces between the tiles? I think it's a bug.)

Developer(+1)

Thank you for nice feedback!

Regarding spaces between the tiles - I am not entirely sure. I noticed some tiles are not perfect and does this artifact, but from what you say it almost looks like you are seeing much more than I do. I just hope it is not ruining the overall experience much.

Submitted

No, of course it's not ruining the experience, you know i just try to see all the things that a can and like a normal player don't care about it for sure.

Developer

I appreciate it! After all the devil is in details. :-)

Absolute Cinema! The comedy and commentary was on point!

Submitted(+2)

Heya, I really liked the game. I wanted to say though that both of our submissions actually have a similar concept of a developer panicking over their broken game, which I think is a very fun coincidence.

Submitted(+2)

Very cool game I love your sick mind XD

Developer(+2)

And I love that you love it! Thank you! :-)

Very cool game! I liked your concept of an idea. But on level 3 and 4 there is bug... I'm sorry... feature that you can jump outside the level. On level 3 I did it in first playthrough and died, when "you completed level" screen appeared i thought that it is meant to be :)

Developer(+3)

Thank you very much for your feedback! It is awesome you have discovered those bugs.

I thought about fixing the "feature" you mention (it took me some time to actually figure out how to jump out on level 3) but then I decided to leave it as the result is you just die and you can restart (or continue in level 3). I think it kind of fits with the game theme. What a luxury to have a game where you can just say "it's not a bug, it's a feature". :-)
