This game is scary! Getting dark atmosphere is not easy, but music and level design makes you feel that you are constantly in danger. I couldn't finish it unfortunately as I'm not very good at handling scary stuff haha but definitely this is a good game.

I was terrified!!!! Well done!

Developer

I had to cut down a lot though.

Thanks for playing!

Great horror game!

Not a lot manages to scare me, but this one is pretty good.

Developer

Thanks for playing!

I wanted to contact you to ask if you maybe want to do some collab in the future but haven't found your discord. Can you write me (@Igor Konyakhin)

Submitted

Thanks for your offer, but I'm not into collabing right now due to some projects.

Sorry about that. I hope you understand.

Developer

Ok, no problem

That was scary mate! I really likes the creepy music together with the more dynamic chasing music which would for some reason start even if she was not near me. I would have also appreciated a pause menu but apart from that i think you made a great job with this game!

Developer
which would for some reason start even if she was not near me

For simplicity it starts when she is geometrically close to you and that maybe the other floor (above/below) or on the other side of the wall.

Thanks for playing!

I'm not really a fan of horror games, but when i put my bias aside, this game has a really great atmosphere, and it was creeping me out (which isn't that hard tbh). I respect you for making a 3d game, even with voice acting in a week. That had to take a lot of time. Really solid entry. Honestly, i can't say i had a good time, because as i said i don't like horror games, but objectively it's a great game.

Developer

3d-modelling indeed took a ton of time. Thanks for playing.

I also played your game.

You managed to scared me. I mean, I am not a big fan of horror genre because I am easy to scare but still the quality how you managed to scare me was pretty high :D The game somehow reminded me of Doctor Who S9E11 Heaven Sent - constantly chased down by a creepy creature, exploration only possible if you put enough distance between you and this creature.... Conclusion: You did an amazing job!

Developer

Thanks for playing!

I'll be able to play your game if you make a WebGL or MacOS build.

Extremely atmospheric and spooky game. Amazing game concept. Really nice graphics combined with nice audio. That strange creature in the beginning looks terrifying. Props.

Developer

Thanks for playing. Can't imagine playing 200+ games... :)

So I played your game and I had shivers. To be honest with you I'm really scare when I play horror games. So each time I heard the sounds of this thing approaching me I was really scare. I couldn't finish it because well.....I was terrified lol. I'm sorry for that. But I tried my best because usually I don't play this kind of games.

It has a very good ambiance, some collision are slowing you and gets frustrating because you don't usually understand what you bump into (chairs collision box are treacherous lol) The monster even though looks simple is just as scary.

I liked the peaceful voice of your player that finds that totally normal. I would have expected a panicked voice to put you in the mood but it was fun to hear that contrast.

For the theme, I was to terrified to understand what the theme was, I just wanted to run away.
Good job !

So I played your game and I had shivers

Well, goal achieved!

Some collision are slowing you

I probably forgot to set frictionless physics material to some objects

I liked the peaceful voice of your player that finds that totally normal

Voice-acting turned out to be harder than expected and I was recording it around 8am in the morning, 3 hours before the deadline

Thanks for playing!

You did a good job in the modeling and putting a scary/creepy atmosphere!

You really did a good job at creating a tense atmosphere in the game. I think the sharper sound is played when she is close, right? That would make sense, to alert you about her closeness. Gave me a couple of jump scares lol! I didn't notice any clues, just had to wander about in circles, opening every drawer, which seemed like poor game design, and cut my fun down... My game used to be like that too, until day 5, when I realized there weren't enough logical clues, and luckily my friends game me valuable feedback. That's very important before you launch something! Also like that you tried pbr materials, that desk reflection is bichin! Good luck making games like this in the future!! Check out mine when you have the time: https://greenworks.itch.io/love-light

Yes

just had to wander about in circles, opening every drawer

I had to cut down a lot on many aspects because of how much time 3d-modelling took. Opening every drawer is the intended way of playing this version and keys are spawned at different locations every time.

Can you build your game for Mac? WebGL lags on my MacBook even on "low" quality settings.

Submitted

If your intention was to make the player run around searching for random keys, you succeeded in delivering a very claustrophobic and paranoic feeling :D love it, even though I was scared sometimes! I did build my game for mac, and then realized it has to be approved by the mac store?? Or is that folder enough, which unity builds?

Developer(+1)

That folder which Unity builds is enough. It doesn't need to be approved for mac store (unless you publish to mac store).

Yuhuuu! Thanks for the tip! :D I'm uploading it now. Check back soon.

Awesome game :)

I hate horror games! Not what I expected when the theme has Love in it.

Good game, though! It's nice that the keys randomize each time so you do have to search every playthrough.  Music is intense once you get those keys. Going forward, having something to say how close she is to you would be good, either in the way of a radar or you hear her talking or something.

Developer

Music changes (most of the time) when she is close by. She talks every now and then which you might hear sometimes when you are close.

Thanks for streaming!

Lovely game so romantic! Just kidding! Really well made game which can give you some goosebumps! Love to see a 3D game in here. I dont know why but my mouse sensitivity rapidly increased while ingame - I had to change my settings. Also I've got a little stuck here & there. Also some of the commentaries were funny: is that a knife? Cracked me up I'm sorry. I've never voice acted so I can't judge. Anyway really great game highrated.

Developer(+1)

Yeah, with 2D there is actually more time to polish a game, it's easier for beginner and you don't need to know how to model. So I am not surprised there are few 3D-games

No idea why mouse sensitivity changed.

Yes, she has a knife.

Voice acting turned out to be harder than it seemed. I am far from satisfied with how I did it.

Thanks for playing.

You did great, did not want to bring you down. The modelling done in the game is high quality, almost unbelievable that it was made that fast - thats really admirable.

Loved it, great atmosphere!
