Nice but really challenging :)!
This is really challenging to play, However the visuals and audio are superb!
Thanks a lot, I'm mediocre at pixel art but I'm always trying my best to make it visually interesting.
9 is my high score and i don't know if thats a lot but im happy with it xd
The tutorial is a bit confusing but overall is a solid game (and tutorials are unusual in game jams so that's nice ^-^)
My brother play testing has achieved 13, but it's strongly depending on the randomness because there is always a completely different randomly generated series of notes and Thanks for your feedback. :D
Pretty unique concept and I liked the art. For gameplay, I think it was way too hard to understand what I was supposed to be doing. And even after I figured it out, I feel like the game was a bit too picky about whether or not I did it right. But aside from that, it was pretty fun so nice job! Please give my game a try too :)
Sure thanks a lot for your feedback :P
It was quite difficult to understand what to do. Only from the description did I finally figure out how to do it. The graphics and audio are great!
Thanks a lot for your feedback, I've already improved the game to make it hopefully more clear and will upload as soon as the rating time is finished.
I liked the game, graphics are good and can you rate us please?

Nice take on the theme, beautiful game page too.
Thanks a lot I always try to make the page looks somewhat good so it's nice to hear that you appreciate my effort :P
Fun, simple and addictive. also great job on the art and music.
Actually I have no negative comment on this game, great job.
Maybe in the future you can add some more challenges, powerups, etc
Also Please try our game and rate it: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-3/rate/574177
Thanks for your feedback and I rated your game already :D.
Great Idea! You drill holes in a flute and it's amazingly fun x)
Thanks a lot :P
I love the art style in this game. The colors are very bright but in a way that’s handled well and isn’t at all overwhelming. Just has a very happy vibe and the music fits well with that.
Drilling out holes in the flute is a really cool mechanic which was fun to play around with. It also acted as a very clever way to slow the player down and force them to remember the pattern for longer while also thinking about something else. Very smart challenge which adds an extra layer of complexity to the normal “remember the pattern mechanic”.
Because you’re creating music on the flute, I wasn’t a fan of the music once the gameplay started going. It didn’t stop me from hearing the flute notes or anything like that, but it was a little jarring to have both going on at once. What I think would be amazing would be to have something like a drum track going alone, and have the flute sounds play to the beat of the drum, so you’re actually creating the background music as you play. Just a thought!
All in all really well executed game that was a lot of fun to play.
Here’s my game if you want to check it out. https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-3/rate/572795
I really like that you could enjoy my game so much and I'm really happy that you recognised why the drilling was added in the first place: Thanks a lot for your informative review and nice feedback and for the music I'll see if I can work around that because your idea is really good :D
Really nice concept, however I has some trouble with understanding the pattern ; I thought it was too fast for me, so I ended up trying to recreate them in disordeer to see if something changed, but no. The tutorial didn't help me either, but I guess it was because the rapid pattern confused me. Like the idea behind he game though, I hope you can expand on it.
Sorry the visibility right now isn't very good. You really have to watch the Indicators that are different colours (Yellow, Purple, Red etc.) out of these Indicator come Notes with the same colour , but I will see if I can improve the visibility and slow down the rise of the notes. Thanks for your feedback.
I love your take on the theme and that extra element before the memory game! The written tutorial really helped because I thought I had to hit the notes that was next to the scoreboard and thought it went too fast. I had the most fun with the drill mechanic and I wonder if you can expand on that, still really solid game!
Thanks a lot for your feedback, I've already improved the game a little bit and removed the clicking part to make the drilling more essential and will upload it as soon as the rating period is over. I will also look if I can add even more to the drilling part. :D
-cute game well done dude !! i liked the game concept really great work !
-the music epic !! the game design my be improved a llitle bit
-overall nice game !! ^^
btw i rated ur game can u do the same pls ?? and thx !!
Sure thanks a lot for your feedback :D
Nice looking game, music is is nice and chip tuney! I was a little confused even with the instruction on the page but once I got the hang of it was fun :)
Thanks a lot I know it's hard to get into, but thanks for your effort nevertheless :D
Cool art and audio!
Thanks a lot :P
It was a really nice game. I liked the idea of a memory game. The sounds were awesome. There is one thing that should have been made - instead of making holes and clicking why not just make holes. Background was minimal and good.
Thanks for your feedback I improved the game after getting so much valuable feedback in the last few days and the new version has the annoying clicking part removed as well as improved visibility.
It was an innovative spin on flute minigame, though not an interesting one to me i'm afraid. It didn't made sense to me why there even was drill mechanic, it wasn't fun and didn't served making gameplay interesting nor better in any way. It would be good if there was atleast some lore behind this mechanic so it would explain its concept for being there. Not the best solution but that's atleast something.
Well done with music.
I've added the Drill mechanic as a twist, but in the end it served little to no purpose besides adding to the theme. I'm working on yhe game right now to remove the clicking and make the drilling more essential and for your take on lore, It could be interesting (The flute could be cursed or magical) and I'll see if I can change the game so that it tends to more peoples whishes. Thanks for your feedback :P
Interesting idea, I've never seen a flute game before! The tutorial was hard to follow, and like others I found having to repeatedly re-drill holes to be tedious. The core concept of having the player play music is good though, and your background music was fun to listen to!
Thanks for your feedback it seems that I really need to change that. :P
Interesting implementation of the theme! It took several tries to get through the tutorial though, and I had to read the description to figure out how to play and what I was doing wrong.
Drilling holes into a flute to play them is an interesting idea, but it got a bit tedious having to drill the same holes over and over again, at least with having to let go of the drill, click the hole you just drilled, then pick up the drill again. Felt like there's too many steps you have to do. Maybe skip the extra clicks and only use the drill to play the notes?
The concept is interesting and original though, hope you find a way to make it even more fun! Oh, and the music was catchy!
Thanks a lot I will look I've I can change some things to make it more fun :D
Very Creative design and theme implementation.Awesome Game, really liked it.
I hope you like my game too!
Thanks a lot for your kind feedback.
