Interesting puzzle concept. However I did manage to exploit the game I guess, by just using the white ball to follow and adjust the ship. If you add a limit on times you can move a hole / white ball, and make it so you have time at the start to set it up before the ship takes off that would make your game better I think? Overall, the mechanics are pretty solid
Thanks for checking it out!
Great short game! I like the physics puzzles and spacey atmosphere.
Only complaints is that the sound effect when near black/white holes are a little jarring. Also, you can manipulate black/white holes while the ship is moving, so you can cheat by guiding the ship mid-flight. (Maybe that is intentional?)
But all in all, good puzzle game about black holes.
Thanks for your comments! I'll be releasing an update after the judging period that allow you to control the SFX volume. I did intend to allow players to place the holes mid-flight, but it's definitely a feature I went back and forth on.
Great mechanic!
Thanks!
I liked the game, graphics are good and can you rate us please?

Glad you liked it!
Very nice game! A little improvement and the game would be great.I enjoyed playing it. All the best and Good luck! Do check out our game we need the feedback! - https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-3/rate/574293
Thanks for checking it out!
Aargh!, I was doing so well (I solved level 2 in 30.71 seconds), but the Tutorial/Credits/Volume panel is covering the level 4 and 5 buttons. Is there a way to get the game to go full screen (which might help) or to hide the panel that's blocking the buttons?
Really nice game. Reminiscent of the galactic pool from Red Dwarf :-)
Thanks for checking it out! I do have a fix for that embarrassing menu bug, which I will be uploading as soon as I'm allowed to at the end of the judging period.
Great! I'll be back to complete the challenge then :-) Thanks.
Cool game, but the long iteration times got a bit frustrating. The ship was so slow, and every small change required you to wait five odd seconds to see whether what you've made works or not. The holes had such a huge range, so even the smallest change to config could completely change trajectory, which is okay, but the slow iteration time made fine tuning your setup slow. It would be nice if the ship could be sped up, reset instantly, or better still, if a live trajectory could be shown that immediately updates. The goal could also be bigger to reduce the need for fine tuning.
Otherwise tho, the game was very innovative, and the physics of the system was pretty cool. Nice work with the simplistic graphics. It was also really neat how the sounds of the black holes were '3D', with the volumes in each ear adjusted to make it sound like you're in the space craft. Good job with the game, hopefully you get a good rating for this!
Thanks for the detailed feedback - it's always very valuable! The game does have a feature where hitting the space bar immediately resets the ship, but it's not something that's exposed via the UI. Making features like this more intuitive is definitely a goal of mine .
Great game! Love the graphics and the design, good job!
Thank you!
Very cool game just a few issues with resolution and that the holes should be restricted within the camera space. Overall one of the most fun to play game of the jam.
Thanks for checking my game out!
Nice game! tutorial is too much text, that you could easily fix by not overwhelming the played with everything at once. you could add a level with only black hole first, then only white hole and then both.
wish I could play those last 2 levels as well and you might be able to fix it by changing default resolution to full HD in itch settings. all the best!
Thanks for the suggestions. I do have a fix for the UI that will be released as soon as the judging period is over
Very interesting game, but I would love to see tutorial for controls and fix the UI. But overall cool idea
Thanks for checking it out. I did include a tutorial, but I think my UI issues made it hard to find.
The gameplay and graphics are really solid. Only issues are the main menu overlap and the UI in the game is a little to big, in my opinion . But still hat a lot of fun playing the game
Thanks - I appreciate the comments!
But I can't play level 4 and 5 because the settings menu blocks the buttons
Yep, I'm embarrassed by this :(. What resolution do you run your screen at? I want to make sure I cover everyone's setup when I fix this.
960x600
TY!
It's a little bit difficult but interesting!
Thank you!
Really unique game! It's challenging and fun to play. Good job!
Thanks for checking it out!
A couple people went down the route of a gravitational puzzle game, and this one's by far the best. Feels nice, good visuals, really nice I can see the trajectory of the ship too. Only thing I'd wish for is a button to send the ship but other than that a really really well done game. And your first jam too!
Thanks for checking it out!
Such an original and well designed puzzle game, I love how fun it is to play with black and white holes, giving the player the chance to pass each level using different strategies. Also, the rockets movement feels so smooth and it is very enjoyable to watch.
The graphics an audio are cool and fit well within the game, the only advice I would give is to polish a little bit more the UI.
Congratulations again on your submission, it is an amazing game and Im sure you will do great in this jam!
Thanks a lot for the compliments!
Really innovative and fun the UI could have been better and the audio is really awful sorry
Thanks for checking it out! I promise I'll be fixing the audio
Fantastic game. I think the audio of the black and white holes was a bit ear piercing, but otherwise this was really well made!
Thanks for your comments! I'll be adding volume controls for SFX in the future, in the meanwhile I hope your eardrums are OK :)
Some of the sounds are really headache inducing.. other than that it is a really nice concept!
Thanks for checking it out. Volume settings will definitely be included in the future!
