In what way does your game fit the theme?
The game involves placing fans that persist throughout a stage, thus having Repeating Winds (Re; Wind). Placable clocks also rewind fans, reversing their flow.

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All of the code was written from scratch. The skybox assets were taken from the free version of the BOXOPHONIC Low Poly Asset package and the wood texture was taken from a free package as well. The music was composed in FL Studio. Some sound effects came from sound libraries but were all edited and reworked into new audio.

This is a neat little puzzle game! I really like the mechanic of placing things down when you touch certain tiles, it has a lot of potential for a whole bunch of different puzzles. The different ways the duck can float are communicated very nicely with simple animations and overall the movement felt intuitive. Great submission! I hope you continue working on this after the jam

I love how the visuals, sounds, and animations all sell this lovely and fun mood that makes the game all that more enjoyable. I kept thinking I was in like a Mario Sunshine level when Flood is taken away from him but with its own unique style. :D

Continue to work on this idea. I want to see more clever uses of the mechanic. (I did not get to the final level so if you did add this already sorry :P) Maybe add more variations of the ducks like one that explodes when colliding with something so that it can destroy walls. Another one that cuts like blade which you can use to cut ropes to form bidges. These would be like a sacrificial ones to open the path for the yellow duck. Also, maybe fans that turn on/off on a timer.

Any who, clever idea, fun puzzles, really enjoyed it!

Great game, I really enjoyed it! I really like the design and the toy box aesthetics. The music really fits the theme of the game. I would suggest adding a  shadow under the duck so the player knows more easily where they are hovering.

Developer

Thank you for playing! That's a great suggestion and we'll keep it in mind

A part of the music reminded me of Final Fantasy 7. Can we call the toy duck, Duckobo? 😆

Kidding aside, game was very clean and presented well, love the sfx of the duck gliding *wiggle wiggle*

Developer

Sure, I like ducks and chocobo. Also, in restrospect, you're right, I guess the starting portion of the Stage 2 theme does sound like Tifa's theme! Thanks for the kind words!

Developer

Thanks! The wiggling effect was my favorite to make.

Well done and quite polished! It's the kind of game I'd expect to be for sale.  Good mechanics and nice variant on all the theme.

Very nice, the look of the game is really appealing, and it's pretty enjoyable as a casual game. I like the clever twist on the theme, too... I was originally going to do a game based on Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind about a plague of spores encroaching on a valley where the wind has mysteriously stopped blowing by bringing the wind back but I couldn't figure out exactly how to work that into a quick casual game. You did a great job nailing the same idea, of using Re-Wind.

Very cute and simple game that kept me playing for a long time! Good work with the tutorial and the audio! Congratz

Very cute and polished game. I liked the duck and how it was a wind-up toy to match the theme.

Some levels (namely 4.3 and 4.2) I finished without using each building block. I think they were there just to mess with the player :P

Developer

Thanks! Between the duck being a "Wind"-up toy, the fan("Wind)s  persisting and "Re"peating through levels, and clocks "Rewind"ing fans to reverse them, we might have been a little heavy-handed on the theme.

As for 4-3 and 4-2, that's something we found out about late in the dev cycle, but we decided to keep it that way for extra player options. There's a way to beat the levels while using each build object, but kudos to you for figuring out the "secret" way!

Your game is very nice too. It's simple, fun and have in-game tutorial and that's big plus. The SFX and music is really good too.

Developer

Thanks for checking our game out!

Love this game! Pretty solid one! The gameplay was fun and easy tp understand.

Found one Bug on first stage where building fans were possible (Placed fan dissapeared, gravity were off and all others mechanics also was not working) but after Restarting the stage everything backs to working.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! We'll look into that bug!
