In what way does your game fit the theme?
In the game you play as an interstellar traveler with a super cool mixtape, and aliens want to steal it from you because they like the music. You can rewind the tape to keep the aliens away because they dislike the sound of the tape being rewound while you try to get away from them.

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All of the code was written by myself, as well as all of the art and music, with the exception of the 3D models which were done by my teammate, all of which were done in the duration of the jam.
The only things that we didn't make were one model of a cassette tape and a font which were downloaded from Sketchfab and 1001 Fonts respectively.

I really like the game. Shooting aliens and collecting powerups is super satisfying. The graphics and sounds are great! I would have loved if the spaceship also reacted to the music like the aliens did! Overall great game! (rated)

I tried moving the ship as well, but I thought it might confuse the player so I removed it.

Nice music and dynamics, but the UFOs are a bit too quick, and wasn't really able to fully apply the rewind mechanic too its full potential.

I loved the music, the camera movement and artstyle is excellent and its great how the UI beats with the song.

The ovnis are too fast in my opinion

One of the coolest looking games of the jam I've played so far, also one of the hardest.

Strong esthetic, the pulsing UI adds a lot to the presentation. Very polished all arround.

Wished I could say more about the music, but I only ever get to hear the first minute or so : P

My only real pieces of critisim would be -

consider making the hit boxes more forgiving and consistent. It looks like the enemy's don't actually got to clip you for you to game-over. I feel like the player's hitbox could either be made a bit more form fitting, or the ship scaled down, or taking inspiration from SHMUPS redueced to the actual cockpit.

I'd also consider making the base weapon full-auto, after some rounds I really felt the shooty-finger getting tired from hammering.

I'm glad you liked it, I'll definitely decrease the size of the hitbox and I'll experiment with the shooting.

Lol the dancing alien ships and UI XD. The only audio is the music but I feel it's appropriate. I like the effects, good job!

There are other sound effects in the game, but I thought that if there are too many, it would take away from the music.
