In what way does your game fit the theme?
You can use Z to rewind your player's movement, allowing you to traverse thru the puzzles.

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I made the code, and my friend, Scoop made the art.

Great design work! My only gripe about it would probably putting level 3 before level 2. It showcases the fact that the box can be taken with the rewind much better! I was a little stuck on level 2 but somehow stumbled upon that fact lol

Lots of games with slimes! Hahahaha

Liked the concept, didnt find any bug, apart from not being able to jump  if i am on a button. The puzzles were all well executed and entertaining, although the first ones felt a bit too hard in my opinion. One of the best looking 2D games i've seen in the jam!

I like the feeling of the game, the pixel art is visually pleasing too, good job!

This was fun. I really like the fact that the screen changes when you rewind. The puzzles also were interesting, but I felt like some of the first puzzles were harder than the last ones. Although it took me some time to get level 6 right. Overall it was a fun challenge, the music was good and made it more fun.

Also, I didn't expect that there would be that many games with slimes in it, mine has one too! You could check it out if you're interested :D

thanks a lot for the feedback and kind words!

Loved the rewing aesthetic, and the puzzles are pretty good. The controls feels a bit wonky at times, though. Overall, it was a fun game! Great work!!

I like the simple controls, I didn't have to use the mouse which I like :) Cool little slime and I like the rewind effect. Nice job.

The game is fun, the puzzles are just the right difficulty and you nailed the rewind theme. If you want some feedback:

- the jump sometimes acts oddly (you can't jump when on top of buttons, for example and in some corners).

-the level 4 can be beaten easily with one box

-in the last level, if you stand on the button and then leave, both gate close, and the game becomes uneatable. I don't know if that's intentional, but i feel like it shouldn't be like that

-in the levels in which you can't die, there is no way to go back to the main menu (that i know of)

oh yeah, I guess there were a few oversights, the jumping in buttons is broken because I forgot to layer and tag them as ground. Thanks for the feedback!

All I could recommend is making the rewind look a bit smoother, by having the slime constantly facing the opposite way it's moving to look like it's actually moving back in time, rather than just following a path backwards

Thank you!

What a lovely execution. The concept is easily grasped and used. I would consider  swapping first and second level after the tutorial as the second level teaches the mechanic of carrying stuff through rewind very well.

Thank you!
