Nice game! It has a simple yet good idea and cool little levels built around it. The conflict with the keys is a pitty. I got stuck and could never start over, as the computer opened windows help instead.
But apart from that and some minor things, the game is lovely and pretty good. I had fun playing it, well done and keep it up!
I would really appreciate if you could check out my game and leave a rating, thanks :D
Nice game , like the music and the atmosphere.
I had some issues to kill the enemies, the collision wasn't working very well.
Couple of issues:
If you improve it It can be a funny game.
Good Job.
My game is a casual game if you wanna rate is https://misterm.itch.io/mixtape-match , Thanks
I loved it ! You deserve my stars !
it's fun
I like the rewinding to your position and I love how it saves your health. I actually never used it though. Nice game though.
awww... we built so traps, and holes, ways to hurt yourself, just to motivate you to use it, but im glad you liked it! :)
Its alright, I loved the game!
Cool mechanic with a lot of potential. Some elements seem to be quiet annoying and I got stuck on a gap that I couldn't get over. Overall cool game :)
Glad you liked our mechanics, some stuff is a bit annoyinh, but we didnt had much time. As for getting stuck, if you are referencing to level3, then it was our endgame so it was hard, maybe too hard. We felt like doing a Hollow Knight :D Anyways it could have been passed by using double jump and dash at the end. But thanks a lot for playing and rating :)
Just some quick feed back :)... It's a fun game with a cool concept... Although I didn't find myself using the rewind mechanic much if I'm honest. The art is also cool and the movement is quite nice, except just pressing escape didn't work for me to attack I always had to dash, not sure if that was intended? Also you get some weird tilemap issues from where it's pixel art in unity, it creates gap between the tiles, 2 ways to fix this: 1 use a pixel perfect camera or 2 extend the borders of by about a pixel or 2 on each side of the tiles and then crop it down to the wanted size. Finally there was some quite cheap bits, such as the spikes directly bellow the blind drop in level 2, I know these are easy as a developer because you know they're there, but as a player things like that can be really quite annoying... Either way this game is quite cool, great art, nice music and cool use of the rewind mechanic!
Thanks for your feedback it’s appreciated!
We are both kind of noobs so we definitely missed a lot of quite obvious things (we can see that now haha), we will definitely do better job next time. Thanks again!
Congrats for your game! I really enjoyed the movimentation and the flow of the game. Great job!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed :)
Very cool! Sometimes the collision on the walls is a bit janky but thats totally fine. I love how you interpreted the rewind mechanic, keep it up!
Thank you! Glad you liked it! Yeah the bug with getting stuck on the wall, when you have to jump, if thats the one you talking about, is one of things we forgot to fix.
Unfortunately, because of the button combinations your game uses, it keeps closing the browser tab =P
Overall, feels a bit celeste. A bit annoying that your attack doesn't anything except animate when standing still.
Liked the idea, though. Maybe have a look at my game, Ariadne?
(Also, where is it explained what the soul print actually does?)
Thanks for playing! Yeah, about the controls, we are so noobs, like we used almost all the wrong buttons, but we wised up from this game :) It seems that we should made a better explanation about the Soul print, what we did say was that Soul print saves your health and position in level1, we did prompt player to use it twice in level1. We should have said that the soul print cant defend or attack and to keep it safe. And we agree Dash should have better code. Thanks for you feedback! Much appreciated. :)
Havent played. Celeste just seen some videos. But I am considering to do my homework. :D Starting with HollowKnight.
Cool! I like the idea of leaving a backup behind, though once you advance a bit, it feels tedious to have to backtrack to it. But it certainly is a cool concept that can be explored!
We are glad you enjoyed, and yes its kinda annoying to go back if you forgot to summon a Soul print, but this is why there is no limit of prints. I thought at first that maybe its too annoying, since the games seems to be fast paced, but you have to rewind back to the soul, but it can be mastered. This is why we added timer, to push players trying to master it.
Nice. It’s really awesome to find some solid idea behind games. :)
The idea was super fun to play with and the music was great too! The movement was a little clunky but i got the hang of it
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed. Yes movement is something we could have improved, but todo list was so big, that all the little things got buried under :D
This game was super fun the only problem I saw was that when I was at the bottom of one of the levels I was able to see the blue coler that unity puts when you dont have a background
Thanks! I thought we covered everything good enough. We will take better care next time. Glad you enjoyed playing :)
