Awesome graphics, music and sound effects! Very quick to learn the controls too. I thought the spike objects would do damage at first. The jumping and movement was very low gravity and if you hold jump the player jumps very high which didn't feel completely natural, but very fun nevertheless. In what way does your game fit the theme?
Its a REWIND back to the neon colors of 80s disco.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes most the code was written by us during the jam( expect the A* pathfinding package)
The sprites expect the (powerup and the triangles) and all the music was made by us during the game

A great game but some issues need to be fixed:
The player goes behind the walls when jumping, The spikes doesn't kill the player (I don't know if that's how the game is supposed to work) And a particular cube launches the player up in the sky(I don't know if that is supposed to happen or it is an intentionally placed bug. Some form of checkpoints would have been nice. It's not nice respawning at the start every time I die.
A great game overall.
The sound of the footsteps was a bit too loud, but I liked the general platformer idea. Just one thing, why didnt the spikes kill the player? Cool idea and nice aesthetics :)
Hey, I noticed that there are a few issues with the game. First, it seems that the colliders for the ceiling were a bit off, as I could jump through part of it. I also got stuck in a part where the bullets come at you, and was unable to progress through the game. Lastly, there were some objects that I had no idea what they were for, such as the triangle blocks or the random NPCs.
The music was very cool, and the colorpalette well chosen, the aesthatics were brilliant, most other things a bit wonky, as is in a Gamejam ;)
This is fun and weird ahahha. The physics are bizarre but I do like them xD. Just one thing I got stuck with the yellow balls that follows the player ...i didn’t know what to do, had to restart the game xD.

I like the sprite of your main character. It was really cute and reminded me of Gyro's helper from the Donald Duck comics.
My biggest issues with the game was the relentlessness of the bullets and the camera. Why was it so close in the first level and at a, IMO, good distance in the second level?
So: Is it normal that you can jump halfway into blocks? Sometimes you can jump further under the blocks and the sound is weird, it is played too often. Why is the jump animation looped?, that looks weird. Why are there spikes, people and bullets etc.? They do no damage.
If you fix that, I'm sure it would be a good game :)

I think the jump was too floaty and it felt kinda awkward to play. Other than that, its a neat concept :)
