I absolutely love the mosaic complexity of the tiles. (definitely gonna nick the idea :)
Good puzzle game!
It is a bittle difficult to control the character first, I think it's because the slides it makes when going fast. But other than that, is a nice puzzle game.
Loved the graphics and the style. It really feels like a poolished game.

An interesting puzzle game. The movement seems to have too much inertia, though (the players keeps moving a little after the movement key is released), making precise jumps too hard. Other than that, a nice game, well done!

Ohhhh, this made me super-nostalgic for 8-bit home computers, the aesthetic was spot-on. Great presentation and devious puzzles. :)
Thank you so much, yes we wanted to bring back the good old times when games were a bit tougher and graphics were reduced to the minimum. And yes, the old games still are fun to play, no matter how opulent the graphics are today :-) Retro Love!

Sweet game! I like the simple pixel art, I like how readable and distinct all the sprites are! The animations are great too! The main mechanic is really clever as well. A looot of people have done the "you control 2 characters and switch between them" idea, but yours is the most unique take on it so far. I especially liked how you could jump on the shield bot to reach higher places! I do feel like the big guy does move a tad bit too slow considering the size of the levels though. Like the others have said, the screen size is too large, I had to zoom waay out to see the whole screen, but that's such a minor and fixable issue that it almost feels like it's not worth mentioning. Overall well done, fun game!
What a nice feedback, thank you so much, yes, it was not intended to be a browser game I have to admit, but I know people like to play the game right away, so yeah, we tried that out for the first time. That is why we have full-hd as resolution, sorry for that. Yeah, we definitely will improve the movement speed of both characters, you are absolutely right. Thank you for playing!
Oh yeah, I'm guilty of not wanting to spend the 2 seconds to download a game if i can play it in the browser! So definitely the right move there. The resolution issue is a minor issue, I just thought i'd point it out so you know about it!
Pretty awesome writing everything from scratch! I liked the character switching for the puzzles, definitely added to the theme. I really like the old NES as well!
Thank you so much, yes, creating everything from scratch, even for 3 persons, is a lot of work, you know about all the tiny things occurring while developing, we are happy with the result for now.
Great little game! Great level of polish, took me a few seconds to understand the mechanics of switching between players but you can tell you put a ton of effort into this and it shows. Nice work!

Neat idea and cool low res art, i did find the characters hard to control and do the platforming as they felt very slippy but it was still an interesting game :)

Hey, awesome puzzle game! Loved the music and the simple but awesome art style! The colors are really well selected, its not too dark and twisty but dark enough to be mysterious :D Took a few times to get used to the controls but the game fits the theme so well, really good stuff! Best music of the jam so far :)

Very nice work! Interesting art and nice sound effects and music. The tutorial was a bit confusing to me, and the the characters slide which makes it hard to control them and doesn't add much to the game besides frustration. I feel that's something that could be improved. Overall, good entry!
Will absolutely remove the sliding of the small bot in the next update, wish we had time to change that in time. Tutorial, yeah, we had a discussion here if it maybe is too hard for a tutorial, but we decided to go on with it, to create a more harder to solve game. Thank you for your nice feedback!
