In what way does your game fit the theme?
Rubella is all about teaming up with your fellow virus strains so you can do greater things. The more versions of yourself that you can collect, the more powerful you become!
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, all assets were made by me (minus a few of the sound effects purchased from Splice)

So much work went into this game! Truly one of the best submissions I tried, in terms of "Fun".
I really enjoyed smashing that window. And the fact that it tells you what you'll get to do once you reach a certain score (e.g. Chainsaw at 30) really keeps you engaged!
I would add some sort of indication as to where your closest "friend" is, since it's a bit tedious to find them when you're really little (like for a score lower than 5, let's say).
Other than that, really great submission! Be proud!
I like your game! :)
I think it fits perfectly with the theme and the core mechanic was pretty fun.
I really like the fact that when you grow, the camera also gets further away. Like, It really gives the sensation that you are indeed getting bigger and it gets easier to find other viruses and gave a better look at the space.
So great job :) I hope you are proud of your game.
Check out my project if you got the time.
Hey, quite a nice game, the graphics and sounds was truly nice! Would have hope for a little boost or something, at some point I felt it was a bit slow to get all my little friends :)
the amount of different level variations is astounding :D alaso the handdrawn textures are astounding too :D man you're! also check the my game if you don't mind
I like the transitions between levels and the logic behind it. :)
The music is cool and the art is nice too!
I think the screen is too close at the beginning, I kept dying because of an Ant rushing over me and not be able to change direction on time...
The rate of losing our score is too fast also, so even over 10 points, touching a deadly point means death.
And has other comments said... No checkpoints is really discouraging haha
Nice work overall :)
The game idea was cool, the music and graphics were nice. I gave up after dying on level 3 though because:
It was very unclear what killed you, I for example died by bumping into a pair of rocks close to the river on level 2, I also feel like water shouldn't kill you, only that you should be prevented from walking on it(as bacteria generally don't die from water) the colliders of certain enemies were very off, and you had to restart from level 1 if you died.
Except for what was mentioned above, I really liked the game.
The game's world gives me Katamari and Cool Spot vibes, but holy crap is the music LOUD!
nice :)
Fun game and I really enjoyed the sprite design! Feels like a game that could be ported to mobile really easily!
The game was cool. I wish there were checkpoints in between levels, however. Good job with the game though!
Very cool game! Like the art design and the theme fits very well. I like the creature designs as well! Very nicely done :)
Great game ! Main gameplay is cool and minigame with different gameplay on each level is very pleaseant ! You art style is nice too, except for the main character which is weird I think and does not match very well with the game but for all other things good job ! ;)
This was really fun, I played through the entire thing.
I love how the game really starts to put things into perspective the bigger you get. Obstacles you couldn't even really perceive at first are suddly really small. And the way the mini-games lead you from level to level gives the entire exprience a huge deal of variety.
The soundtrack is also really nice. Gives the entire game a light-hearted and happy feeling, which is nicely supported by the cutesy spritework.
All in all a very nice experience ^^
A simple, but fun game. I liked it a lot. Would also like a sligthly bigger map.
This game has a lot of charm to it. The silly graphics and the really funky music go together really well. I also liked the idea of collecting friends to form one item to do one task, it's a pretty funny goal. The best parts of the game were definitely the minigames.
The collecting friends part was pretty tedious and unforgiving though. If you die, you have to start all the way at the beginning instead of at a checkpoint, and it's really easy to die. Bugs are usually faster than you and some of the hazards aren't marked clearly. I would mark the hazards with a red outline or something, and I would also lower the friend requirement from 20 to something low like 5, because for me the most enjoyable part of the game was playing the different minigames.
Impressive work overall, I can tell a lot of hard work went into making this. It's not easy making a bunch of different minigames in a span of a week.
This is a really fun and wacky game! I love the art style and the very catchy music! The little minigames between each area is a really neat touch too! My only complaint is I fell down the sewer grate and died! Really impressive and addicting game! Great job!
I love the adrenaline rush I get when I start to get a little too big and I'm like "I GOTTA GET BIG ENOUGH TO MOVE ON" The music is also very nice and dare I say sexy. It's a super satisfying experience!
=D
This game makes me laugh at the time XD
I love how you set the bateria into different shapes
Interesting concept, the visuals are pretty simple but charming and the inbetween level minigames are oddly reminicent of warioware which is definitely good in my books. overall pretty solid game dude
Its a fun game, but you add shadows and more. More importantly, in these big map games, a map is a very important thing.
