I really like the unique concept of taking turns with each character to create the perfect set up. It feels very satisfying when everything works perfectly. I really liked how you introduced new mechanics slowly in each level. The graphics are also pretty good looking, and one thing I would suggest is adding music to the main game. And even though I got stuck on level ten, I had a lot of fun playing.

In what way does your game fit the theme?
The idea of the game is that your soldiers are "stronger together" and must cooperate to eliminate the robots otherwise you end up failing.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Aside from fonts (and the game engine), all assets are mine including music, art and code.

I liked the mechanic of working together to have one guy shoot an obstacle and the other hit the target. The level transition screens were nostalgic. I got stuck on level 5. I might come back later and give it another try.

For some QoL changes I'd like to see laser sigts for the soldiers that stop at whatever would stop the bullet. Especially for the shotgun guys you need to kind of hope that you predict their trajectory right.
Also it would be nice that after failing a level you had the same configuration and only click to change certain soldiers. Combined with above point, it's a bit tedious to place 8 soldiers the same way as you just did just to change the position of that shotgun guy who shot different that you thought.

Holy cow, why has this not got more attention. I love the concept and the core mechanics and how you used level design to make the most out of both. The art style, the music all fit together to create an amazing atmosphere. Great game

Really good game! I think with some more polish this could be a great standalone puzzle game.
With that said, there is a bit of a spike in diffuculty in level 12, there's just so many troops and robots to keep track of! Maybe it would help if a red line is shown after you aim a troop to show where it will shoot? That way it could be easier to keep track of which robots, boxes, etc. you haven't aimed at yet.
