In what way does your game fit the theme?
The more wolves you have in your pack, the stronger enemies you can hunt
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All code, art/sound editing was done by myself. All artwork/sounds were free, premade assets found on various game development sites (see credits page for details).

I enjoyed the art style and the audio fit really well, although the maps were pretty big the addition of the minimap did help, I also had some issues with the timer and enemies remaining text clipping to one another but overall I think it's a good concept
thanks for playing! :) I know the text for the timer & enemies remaining overlap in the webGL, so it's best to play on full screen or download the game, but thanks for the feedback!
I liked the idea and the art, but the game felt like a walking simulator at times, the maps are way too big
thanks for playing & for the feedback!
Good Game, The art and sound effects are Amazing! The player movement feels Great.
thanks for playing! :)
The sound effects you used are cool. The gameplay is kinda repetitive, but the first level was fun.
thanks for playing! :)
The idea is good, I like the graphics but the level design is poor. Please give us an open forest to run around in, not just straight roads that are painful to run back and forth. Why would animals just use the roads?
Appreciate the feedback! The idea was to have each level be a maze that you had to run through and find the prey/wolves. I could add additional levels that are more open-ended in the future. Thanks for playing!
I hold similar opinions as the other comments. I would like to add two things though. I loved the atmosphere, which is due (I think) to a good combination of sound and art. With regards to movement, is it intentional that diagonal speed isn't normalized? If not, remember to simply normalize the speed vector.
Thanks for the feedback! I actually didn't know I had to normalize the diagonal speed, so I will look into how to do that in the future! Thanks for playing!
I liked the Minimap!.
The concept is simple, fun and addictive!.
Here you can check out our game if you have some spare time. https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-5/rate/923455
Rate is apreciated :
Code HugThanks for playing, I'll check out your game for sure!
Very cool game, nice work!
thanks for playing! :)
Realy cool concept
thanks for playing! :)
Pretty relaxing game with a strong base mechanic. You could expand on it by having different animals that eat can only eat different types of prey/food so you'd have to find them in the right order to progress. The map is a bit big but the minimap definitely helps when it comes to navigating. Nice game!
I like that idea, thanks for the suggestion & for playing! :)
I like the game but the map seems too large.
thanks for playing! :)
A nice relaxing game, art is great, gameplay is fine but can be a bit frustrating when you are lost and can't find remaining prey or other wolfes.
all part of the challenge! the minimap is meant to help as well, maybe I can zoom it out a bit more to help though. Thanks for playing! :)
Pretty neat game could be helpful to add a restart button for when the player realizes they missed prey earlier in a big level
that's a good idea, thanks for the suggestion! And thanks for playing! :)
Fun game! I could see this being developed into an addicting mobile game. The pacing of the game in particular is better than most other games on here!
Just a small concern not addressed in the comments below - the move speed of the player character is perhaps too fast compared to the size of the camera. Either decrease the wolf's speed or increase the field of view.
The menu music sounds really nice too, it really grows on you.
thanks for playing and for the feedback! I noticed the webGL version seems much faster than the windows/mac build, so that might be why? It's hard to tell sometimes with my not-so-great computer, so I appreciate the feedback! :)
This game has a very unusual idea, and I like it. The graphics are quite well drawn considering how short the deadline was given. The gameplay is not very dynamic, but I got a certain pleasure. 4/5
thanks for playing and for your feedback! :)
The graphics were mostly premade assets, however I did spend a LOT of time editing them, so I'm glad you liked them!
Congrats for your game. I love the arts. It may seem a bit frustrating to not knowing the position of the last prey. But you leave enough time to not make it frustrating :)
thanks for playing! the timer was a last minute addition, so I'm glad you thought I left enough time to find the prey! :)
The art of the wolf is great. The walking sound got a bit much for me after a while. I like the idea.
I was worried that might be an issue for some people, so I made sure to add a volume slider for the sound effect in the pause menu! Thanks for playing! :)
Simple but interesting game, I would like to see more mechanics in the future!
The really good art style and the sounds of the forest!
I definitely have some ideas for some, thanks for playing! :)
Hey dude! Really like the art of your game! The sounds are quiteful that really make us inside of a forest. The map is also a good reference for the player.
After some matches, it became redundant. No other mechanic is applied to the game to make the player felling an evolution besides the "pack together".
Overall, a good entry! :)
thanks for playing! I had a couple ideas to change up the levels a bit, but just ran out of time. If I make more levels in the future, I'll definitely think of some ways to changes things up for the player. Appreciate the feedback! :)
Thanks, dude!
Continue this game!
sorry, this game is too stressful for me... or that I am just not a gamer...
lol thanks for trying it out!
