The music definitely fits the game theme and I like your illustration style :)
I think the game will feel better with these 2 main changes:
- Make the physics material frictionless so you don't get stuck when moving into walls
- Make the character take up less of the screen since having it take up nearly the entire height of the screen makes it feel a little claustrophobic
I agree with others in that it really gives me early 2000s FPS vibes. You captured the atmosphere really well. Haven't gotten to listening to all of them yet, but the music definitely matches up with the premise. I'm a big fan of the final boss theme in particular. Insane that you managed to make so many tracks!
Wow, I love the orchestration detail in these tracks. A lot of the instrumentation choices feel very intentional - definitely taking notes here. I gotta say Inside My Mind is an especially amazing sendoff to this soundtrack. Great work :D
P.S. I use Cubase too and you are way more organised than me LOL
I'm a big fan of your composition style! Some of these tracks sound simple on the surface, but actually have really interesting harmonic ideas in them. Still Life with Plum in particular is so charming - it definitely nails the "first region outside the starting village" vibe haha, definitely taking notes on how to make irregular time signatures work without feeling overbearing ;)
The music conveys the horror atmosphere really well. Blessed Beginning definitely makes me feel like something bad is about to happen :O
Nobody hears you pray's sound design definitely makes me feel scared when listening to it alone in a dark room haha. I can totally imagine this as the OST of a horror game.
