In what way does your game fit the theme?
It fits the theme when the player has to stay with his teammate and if he slows down and is out of the game they both lose
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I created my own art and used the help of tutorials since this is my second game.

I think it was a little annoying to listen to the music after a while, and the controls felt a little stiff. Checkpoints are definitely needed, it seemed so frustrating to restart the entire game.

This game kinda reminds of the Super Mario Maker levels where you race a Koopa, neat game but yeah it definitely needs checkpoints

Checkpoints would be good, I couldn't figure out why the bottom guy was there, the audio got a little annoying after a while.
Nitpicks aside, I thought the game was fun! Great job on your second game!

So the guy at the bottom was moving the camera and if you went back then you would die because you weren't together you were far away
The music is good. The graphics could need an upgrade... Simplicity might be key here. Other that that, the exact rati of vertical and horizontal movement could be faster, snappier. That's very hard to get right in platformers... see the elf in my own game.

The purple monsters are really hard to jump over. Also, I wish there were some checkpoints bc it really annoying to die to a purple monster then have to restart and spend 3 minutes getting back there.

its quite fun but also bit hard
yeah ik right it took me time to complete it but then i made it a bit easier im just happy that there arnt any bugs
