Chaos from explosions, destructible ground and an overwhelming amount of enemies! Let there be chaos!

We made everything from scratch, except the music and the font.
Amazing game with great sound track. Music fade in is a find! The game makes me try again and again in hope that there is something there, deep inside.
Scope of the game is pretty small as it should be on gamejam, simply pure idea, which to me is very fresh and presented in a stylish way. My applouse.
Very cool game with a pretty unique art style. The gameplay is fun, and everything about the game seems very polished. It's definitely fun to shoot and fly around because of the knockback. I just think that there isn't as much chaos, perhaps more enemies would have been appropriate as well.
I recommend everyone to give it a try!

It starts out so tame, and then all hell breaks loose! Nice work, very fun to play.
Really fun! The art is really nice and destructible terrain is always cool. I like that you do not get damaged so you just have to worry about protecting the beacon. One issue I had is the game started to really lag towards the end which felt a little unfortunate.
Very fun game. I managed to match your high score of 2700. The destructible terrain and the rocket launcher are very fun to play with. Also, the game juice is through the roof. The only complaint I have is that the damage I took didn't really seem to correlate with the gameplay. Sometimes I would get hit by a drill or laser and lose no hp, other times i would lose hp for no apparent reason at all.

I think you stumbled upon one of the biggest problems of the game, and that is explaining what you need to do. You yourself are actually invulnerable. It is the beacon that takes the damage and it is the beacon that you have to protect. The characters itself cannot take any damage. We really should have told the player aboiut this somehow.

Definitely chaotic game lol! I always a big fan of explosion and destruction this game is so satisfying to play also would love to have more storytelling, variety of enemies, power up and maybe procedure map generation! Anyways good job and keep it up!

Man, this was really fun! I loved the game design, songs and gameplay. The only critic I have is that the framerate in my pc is dropping a lot when things start to get more intense, but that aside it's a really good entry! gg's
This is a really well thought out game with some good mechanics. The feeling of the gameplay is so satisfying when you do some epic jump shot. The visuals and sound marry seamlessly. I agree slightly with some of the feedback about repetitive gameplay. I think this could easily be remedied with some type of mode switching mechanic e.g. you could stand still at the beacon and repair it. I think this type of gameplay helps break up the flow of play in survive as long as you can type games.
This is just a pet peeve of mine (not criticism) that I see in a lot of jam games but I love jump on W. That's just me. But overall, great entry. Well done.

Your idea of having some minor, second task is really interesting! I have never thought about game design in that way, but I completely see how that could help the flow of the game. Definitely something I will consider in other games. And jump on W would be really easy to implement, haha. I will keep it in mind for the next game :)

Great game! Graphics were fun and retro and the bombs/destruction felt great. Good job :)
Great game! Love the mechanics of the game and the two pretty different enemy types, the environment was really fun to fight in as well. Overall really solid, even more than solid, if that's a thing.
