In what way does your game fit the theme?
The students are tired of their strict school - LET THERE BE CHAOS!
Chaos, Action, Destruction, Pixel-art, 2D games

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Everything is made by us except a library called "Astar" and tools that helped our development but were not utilized in the builds: "Multiscene" and "Graphy". The project also includes Unity-made packages such as Cinemachine and others.

Very interesting game concept. Had fun running around and beating teachers with my kid army. Congratulations!

the graphics looks awesome. Except that  screaming SFX part馃槄. Other than than really good touch.

Happy developing.

Developer

Thank you very much for playing! yup we will fix the screaming 'Waaah' SFX for the next development.

Really nice art and a cute concept. Fits the theme very well. Good job!

There seems to be a bug where pressing the space-bar to begin the game doesn't work, so I used my controller.  Other than that, I loved the unique approach to the theme, there's something so satisfying about slowly growing a gang of students lol.  My main critique is that there is not a whole lot of gameplay beyond walking around, as some other people have already mentioned.  It also was not clear to me what buttons to press to use items once I made them.  But despite all that, I enjoyed the game quite a bit just because of the funny concept and even funnier sound design.  Keep up the good work!

Developer

Thank your for kind words and most importantly your feedback!!

The bug you mentioned could possibly be caused by not focusing on the window? Because it is essential to start the game, someone would have noticed! The key maps are written on the itchio page, bellow the game window, and for the controller!

This game has a pretty silly premise, but it works for the sake of the game. The art is very nice, same goes for the simple notes music. The sounds were good for the most, besides times where the screaming sounds were a bit too much. My main problem is that the wasn't much gameplay, mainly going to teachers and making them leave. There were some item that could be used, but I was only able to make one of them and using it was quite confusing. Also, the order of the game can get pretty confusing. Still, a pretty fun and silly game.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback!

I have to admit that the game is kinda rushed, but this is because of the nature of a game jam. We have plans to finalize the game, where the items and other things (like the game progression) will be improved and have an obvious use!

Great fun aesthetic and graphics.

Amazing game! Look forward to the release in the future! Great graphics and gameplay! Have to ask, are the different students at the top left mean anything?

Developer

Thanks for your wishes and your feedback!

The top left icon (mixed students head) is the amount of students you have on your group. Underneath (the nerd head) is the the amount of nerds you have on your group. Lastly, the 3rd icon (the jock head), you guessed it, is the amount of jocks you have!!

Thank you very much!

Art and design was great and the mob-em style gameplay was fun. Some sound design could be easier on the ears but that lil 'yes' and the chill music made up for it. Crafting and items were cool too!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your feedback!

The sound design part is kinda loud and messy so to fit the chaos theme.

Hahhaha imagine all schools looked like this. The world would be a better place! 馃槄

Cool concept, could be expanded upon! The graphics were just amazing, although fixing the sorting of the sprites wasn鈥檛 properly done. The actual sprites were solid, especially the AMONG US teacher reference. The audio penetrated my ears, and only that felt chaotic for me XD

Developer

Thank you very much for your feedback and we are looking forward to finalize the game and possibly expand it further!

The audio was kinda SUS but mostly to fit the chaos theme (as you noticed ^-^).

Cool!

Really enjoyed the concept, wish the kids screams wouldn't get stuck repeating.

Developer

Thank you! And yeah... that bug needs to be fixed. At least it is not a game-breaking one!

Submitted(+2)

Love the idea! However, I think the "whaa" sound effect will be forever ingrained in my head... haha only joking! The graphics are really good! Loved the concept being able to pick up students. Don't know if they already have this, but it could be neat if the different student types did different amounts of damage or had some kind of unique feature.

Developer(+1)

Happy that you liked it!
As for the students, yes, there are currently 3 types - Normal, Jock and Nerd. All of them apply different fear to teachers, have different rowdinessbravery and speed. Moreover, as you might've noticed, the Nerds allow you to use different crafting stations.

Submitted(+1)

Really neat! Thanks for explaining that to me! I did notice the crafting stations in my playthrough and didn't even think of it when writing my post. Best of luck to your incredible team!

Graphics and game design are good. There are a few bugs, and the audio could be more varied and not all play in waves. Other than that, good job.

I really liked it. Definitly worth expanding on :D
