In what way does your game fit the theme?
You must cause people to rebel creating chaos. Your role is to "let there be chaos."
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Everything except the audio.

Good game, fun, but I ended up soft locking since the call to action post doesn't refresh the possible posts list (also ended up with negative populations due to what I believe is the same bug).
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I realized after that I accidentally created that soft lock problem, sorry 😕. Population I think goes negative because the police can hire from the provinces too with a hidden "loyalist" stat that pulls from the population but is not affected by your follower count. So for instance you can pull 5000 out and the population drops to 1000 but the police might have 5000 loyalists that can still be pulled out and subtracted from the population.
Nice game, took me a while to win. :) Good job. :)
Thanks!
great game! really like the idea of having a strategy game respresenting the theme! Well executed!
Thanks!
Great game! the tutorial could have explained a bit more in my opinion. good job!
Thanks! and for the feedback.
This is really fun and addictive! Nice job. Would love to see more mechanics and complexity added. I eventually managed to take the capital and left it running a while but the angry mobs seem to wander about aimlessly :)
Thanks! Glad you like it! Did the rebels beat all the police?
Yeah they did! Took a while for them to bump into them tho
Nice! There is a small bug that make the police have an advantage at the end and so every time I play the police win lol. Cool to hear the opposite is possible.
Unique strategy game. I love the idea. But I think the government is too strong... 30k people...?
I put a lot of effort to create a 10k army...got destroyed immediately...
So, pretty cool concept. Just need some balance!
Thanks! I wonder if you just got unlucky with how the power distribution played out or waited too long because normally you can get through eventually. I did not really playtest and balance though so your feedback is noted.
I really like this unique take on the theme! It reminds me very much of Plague Inc. except using the idea of social media to gather a following! Super cool. Maybe make it to where there's a chance that followers can spread to neighboring states, that might help pace the game some.
Overall, excellent game; wonderful execution!
Thanks! and thank you for the feedback to make the game better.
Very nice and unique game! And also a really interesting twist on the theme chaos. I think it was very clear how the game worked after reading the tutorial, and the actions had a very distinct picture, which made it easy to remember which was which. It was also really clear what the correct way forward was, and what you had to do to win. The music fitted really well, the sound effects were really good, so it was a really enjoyable experience all round.
I did think the game was a little easy once I figured out how it worked. I could just make sections more and more angry until half the map was red, and then unleash one big army by suddenly spawning armies everywhere. Maybe it would have been interesting if the cops that walk around would reduce anger? This might give the player a bit more of a tactical choice of where focus their efforts. Or perhaps it would be interesting if anger would spread from one section to the other? Just some ideas from the top of my head.
Amazing submission! I really enjoyed it :D
Thank you for the in-depth feedback! I agree with your suggestions, some of them were on my mind as potential improvements but I did not have time to playtest them. I'll have to iterate and see how they play out.
A very fun and creative concept. The gameplay is really enjoyable as well and I love the addition of choosing your character. The idea of creating a rebellion is really good and has lots of potential. The sound effects when you pick the cards is really good. Overall a very fun and creative game. Good luck on the jam!
Thanks! Glad you liked it. I thought the character selection was cool so it's nice that you thought so too lol.
Really clever, great sound effects, I enjoyed it! The gameplay is easy to follow yet hard to master, the concept is cool. I think this game could be much better with it's visuals enhanced!
Thanks! glad you enjoyed it.
Honestly really good! The Ui is the only problem for me, wish there was a faster way to select the item/capital, also would be cool if it was less of a static target. Because you didn't really have to worry about losing, you'd win sooner or later!
Thanks for playing! I agree with the feedback.
i like the idea and i think it can be a good complete game... nice work
Thanks! I will think about it, I definitely think the idea could use more experimentation.
I'd love you to play and rate mine. It has unique platformer and top down blend. I bet you will love the challenge. I'll rate yours after you do mine and put a comment. Happy developing

I really love this Game!
Thanks! glad you love it :)
I tried this game and ended up playing it for 20 minutes! I got hooked by the concept. The sound effects are very entertaining. I tried to make a huge army of angry followers but idk what happened to them after they attacked lol btw can you check out my game too :D
Thanks! glad you liked it.
Nice game
Thanks!
Good fun game, think it was a different take on the theme that worked well. Thought it was a decent idea to use a smartphone to create dissent and probably quite true to life! I think it's got lots of scope for improvements and additional gameplay and a good starting point to carry it further if you wanted to. Wonder whether you could require the player to build up connected territories first but allow side missions to create dissent internally within the enemy's own territory and lowering their army power.
Lots that can be done with this! Well done.
ahh actually that's pretty interesting, I'll have to think about that more, thanks for the feedback!
Great concept ! Love the idea of modern social media movement strategy game.
In my opinion, if there's a threat from the govt to the influencer it would be more challenging.
(In real life, authoritarian govt always trying to capture the influencer first to discourage the social movement)
Thanks for the feedback!
Yeah, the hardest thing for this was the game design part, trying to figure out fun gameplay that could be made in the deadline lol. There are a lot of ways I think this could go, almost too many. I was thinking for example of having the player pick a "home base" that you would have to protect or something or have the government go after territories you were building up but it just did not fall into place in my head well enough to be a playable prototype to justify spending time on it.
Good, GREAT idea!
Maybe to improve it, add random events (maybe popup decisions that have a high risk/reward), and upgrades (things like "pay influencers: gain more followers from posts" or "appear on television: increase anger gain"). I'd probably recommend playing through Plague Inc if you haven't already, as they have some similar themes, and are a masterclass in polish.
I don't think it needed the music, personally.
Thanks for playing!
Interesting ideas, I did not think about the connection to Plague Inc, I played that game years ago. I was thinking a little about the events in terms of the government doing "crackdowns" if territories had too much unrest without being triggered, but did not really explore it.
Are you saying to have no sound effects or just remove the music part? I figured music you could turn off was better than nothing lol but I did consider separating the SFX.
I meant just the music, but keeping the sound effects. Maybe add in a little background noise.
An example of a game with a VERY broadly similar theme and minimal background music is DEFCON.
Ahhhhh true yeah. Thanks!
Nice game, some buttons have unnecessary long text though.
Thanks! Lol can't say I disagree, that was a last minute change. It was super short before.
