How does you game fit the theme?
The game swaps perspective between the kids world when adding toys, and the imaginary world when in playing session.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Mostly. There's some realistic skybox / texture in there but otherwise it's mostly done for the jam.

The second wave was definitely longer than it should have been, took quite a lot of clicking nonstop to clear them out. Adding the ability to place down traditional tower defense buildings or at least create barricades / traps would help the player do actions besides clicking. A "hold to fire" option could also be added for more accessibility.

Absolutely love it. The concept is fun and unique and the music is jaunty. Best feature: Twirly gun. Keep up the good work!

Hehe, "feature not a bug"

Fun game, nice job

Thank you!

Fun game I think it would be cool if you could move around some stuff in the world yourself when you go to the next round so you can kinda come up with a strategy of how to protect all the flags.

Would you like to try our game too? You can compete against all the players and put down your own highscore.

The music was funny and I liked the sound effects of the game. The pirates looked cool, but the actual goal of the game was hard to understand for me. I had my health and it was always at 100%, but then I lost and retried from checkpoint and didn't know what was happening. It was fun to shoot around and make a train with the pirates that followed you.

An ok game. I was a little loss with the game's objective aside "protect flags" (how long do I protect it?). I thought it was an endless fps protect the flag game, but then I played on and after a while realized that there are limited enemies.

Also sometimes they got stuck xD

Developer

Yeah, our enemy AI is a bit goofy lol. Perhaps the waves should have been smaller, thank you for the feedback!

I like your game. the music is very catchy. I can listen to it all day. The graphics are simple and fitting . I enjoyed playing your game. But the game is a bit buggy tho

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks for checking the game out, which part was buggy for you?

The blue shirt pirates sometimes walk off path  and get stuck  between walls. And the gun model glitches out a bit

Developer

Ah yeah that was a bug alright, tried to fix the path finding but probably require more digging. Thanks for clarifying!
