Good looking game, nice concept, but very hard. The teleport timing broke me very quickly, mainly because of the controls, would constantly walk either too soon or too late. If that's only my problem, then good work!!

Ah a rage game, you have won, I couldn't take it anymore at the level with the yellow doors and the two purples ones (managed to do the gravity switching trick three times in a row, because I am dumb and didn't notice that going back wouldnt take me up again haha).

The colors of the game are really cool and the sound effects are very fitting as well. Controlling the ghost sometimes is quite painful and irresponsive to the direction you aim it at (I think you made it that it is only possible to select direction when on the ground), this made it very hard.

But a very good game, maybe if I find the courage I'll try again to see if I can make it till the end haha. (don't worry, the rage I felt did not influence the rating I gave this game :] )

Rated!, help me rate mine too!, Thanks!

Very nice game.

First, a compliment, the game looks very nice in spite of being very basic shapes - especially the orange level. Also, the music fit really well.

Unfortunately, two things got in the way of enjoying this as much as I could have:

1. The game was very laggy for me (is it just me?).

2. you move while trying to send out ghosts in different directions. I think it would be much nicer if you held 'C' and froze in place while picking a direction to send the ghost. (though this might be awkward for sending a ghost mid-air)

Amazing work, I love the colors!

I just rated your game, maybe you can do the same on mine ^_^

mechanics are good. Not sure how it fits the theme, cuz i couldn't finish the level, mechanics are very hard for one hand person

Developer

Thanks for feedback. I'll try to keep in mind accessibility of my games in future.

Cool mechanic but too difficult for me with the arrow keys. I couldn't get past the first diagonal teleport.

Really liked the teleporting mechanic, i thought it was very well implemented. The music and sound effects were very nice, and the graphics were simple but well done. My only gameplay complaint is that the controls are a little awkward, would have loved a wasd control scheme in there as well! Unfortunately I got softlocked on the area with gravity changing, as i died after collecting the key and the door reset, but the key did not. I had a ton of fun with what i got to play though!

Fun game. Like the ghost teleporting mechanic. I feel it would be better to use a controller using the right control stick to aim the ghost direction. Its really difficult to aim the ghost and not move especially for angles.

Developer

Thanks for feedback. I was kinda aware of the problem with controlling, but wasn't sure how to fix it for keyboard - I guess maybe we could just give up diagonal movement.

Submitted

I think the diagonal movement is important for the level building. Maybe the 'x' key can hold the player still to aim the ghost.

Also forgot to point out I liked how you did the intro and the tutorial.

Wow fun game! Some of the levels almost required too much coordination for me, but it was fun.

I don't know if it's me, but i couldn't pass the tutorial. When asked to press "c + arrow keys" the up arrow didn't work, neither the diagonal ones, the ghost dash would always go to the left or right, could have been me that didn't figure out how to do it, was a bit confusing, but i liked the simple art with the more detailed animations, and the teleport it's a really fun and smart idea, good job!

Dang, this was a hard game. I loved it. This was well designed and made excellent use of the teleporting mechanic. Great job. :)

Great game! Very hard

Fun game! Liked the teleport concept. There was a pretty big learning curve for it, especially those diagonal ones, but nothing wrong with a challenge!

beautiful colors, very hard to get the teleport to go in the right direction

Great concept !!! Great job!!

I really liked this game! It reminds me of VVVVVV

I like the game's simple design/art style. Despite not being super detailed and everything being mostly shapes, i think the colors blend in really nice and the polish is good as well! The black hole that makes you go through levels looks nice too. I also liked the little cut scene at the beginning! It's cute, well animated and adds some context to the game.

The mechanic where you send a ghost forward to teleport where they are is a neat idea and makes some nice puzzles/challenges. Had some struggle but I could beat them easily enough, but I think the difficulty curve might be a little bit too high? It's not impossible, just gets harder a lil quicker than I expected. Plus, I would've appreciated it if there was an option to hold the C key instead of taping it twice. Would've made it more intuitive for me and most likely other people.

TL;DR, The game's good! Just a few things that could use some improvement but don't really ruin the experience in the end.

Thanks for detailed feedback! Difficulty might be indeed a little bit to high, but It's just so hard for us developers to balance difficulty level, because we play our game so much that It becomes too easy for us, haha.

Yeah, I can agree with that xD

The game is aesthetically pleasing and the mechanics are well thought out. Had quite a lot of fun with it! Really well done with the visuals and sound choices, feels ethereal.

I didnt  post a rating yet, problems i found withv the game:

The controls, the tutorial is nice, but it says i have to use buttons that dont do anything, like Z, howerver y worked as a jump. Because of this I couldnt control my ghost and wasnt able to play your game. If you can tell me the controls I would try again

Also, i like the idea and concept, i really wan to see it executed!

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

That's not a problem with game, it's with your keyboard/system (you have swapped 'z' and 'y' keys, even outside the game). Press CTRL + SHIFT - it should switch it back to normal. And thanks for feedback.
