I knew it'd be fun from the very title but it exceeded my imagination real quick... I won't say how it was good but I dare say that this is the first game I played on the browser then downloaded for later. Really amazing mechanic. I haven't played it too far but really expect you to keep working on it.

I was so curious how this mechanic works, that i, too, deleted the whole world. I imagine it looks beautiful, but the curiosity was too great. I like this mechanic a lot. Brilliant idea and very nicely implemented. :-) I imagine this could be expanded with another book, making things (or new things) real again. I would love to play such a game, as i did with yours. :-)
Maybe it is a spoiler but... if you reach the end of the game, you unlock that mechanic.
And there is a way to unlock it from the very beggining

I can't help but after I starts the game a few minutes, I type: fence, trees, ground, grass, human, etc. and eventually nothing appears on the screen XD. This is an excellent idea and provide different paths for players to do what they want. nice game!

It has a really good concept and the gameplay is great! My first bad ending was erasing humans HAHAH. I think the theme is applied really well. Also the graphics and music are cute :) Great work!
Haha... This was so fun! =D You really nailed the theme. I really enjoyed playing the game, It was also fun to find out how clever your system is by trying different things. It worked surprisingly well. Just make an exit command "GAME is not real" xD
"GAME is not real", "UI is not real", "Sound/Music is not real", "Light is no real"... Those are some ideas we wanted to implement xD But we decided to focus on ingame elements.

The concept is very creative. Haven't seen anything like it so far. I just kept testing the system and wish you added more options to write different things :D Great job!
I think it's a great idea which also opens many possibilities if this game is getting bigger in the future. I think the theme is fully there and well implemented. Graphs & audio are nice. For me it took a while until I knew I didn't have to erase everything that was suggested :D.
I don't know if I got the whole idea but trying to help people (the one in the river by erasing the river or the one with headache by bringing him some medicine), I thought I did it properly but eventually I didn't see any people helped in the menu. Maybe small bug or something I missed.
Finally, impressive coordination work I can imagine for 5 people in just 7 days.
Yes, you got the idea! That text just doesn't update... We had no time to fix it... I know it's very confusing, but the quest system works in the shadows of code xD

Wow. This game is great, I love it. I just love it. The graphics are great, the music is great (though I think something a bit more chill might have been good but I don't feel like this music is stressful). The idea of just erasing whatever you want from existence is really cool and if someone were to tell me they were doing this in one week, I would laugh in their face for thinking they could accomplish a game with such a scope. And yet, somehow, you did it. And did I mention I love the graphics? Even just something as simple as erasing an object is just so...right. The only piece of feedback I can possibly give you is that a few sound effects could have added something. But overall, this has to be my favorite game I have rated so far and much better than anything I expected to find in the Brackeys game jam considering the time constraint.

We knew that our idea was very ambitious, and it could have been boring and confusing if we hadn't done it right. But we bet on it! It was a really hard week, especially the last 24 hours. But we are very happy with the result, even happier reading comments like yours! That makes us think we did it right :)

this game is a masterpiece, it’s so fun to play, & I REALLY loved just writing the name of stuff & making them disappear, it reminded me of death note in a way (i don’t watch anime, but my sister do), except it worked on everything, if you know what I mean.
Pretty fun game although the names of stuff were weird & hard to remember, & it was a bit laggy at first, but non the less, a pretty solid game!

You have all the tags that you can learn, and also the ones you used, on the book! So you don't have to remember anything, the game does it for you :)

The game is very fun and the idea is very interesting . It reminds me of the game "Scribblenauts" where you instead of erasing things you create things. Btw sometimes i got stuck in the river and couldn't move where the guy was drowning.
