Good game really fun.

This game is kind of hard but otherwise, the graphics are nice and the concept is good! The clipping distance on the camera was a little short which cause the sides of the level to clip out.

nice job. I think the spawning of nightmares is a little random and unpredictable. I always get shoot suddenly on the back. I think some special objects can be added in the environment to indicate where the nightmares would spawn and attack the plane.

Developer

they actually spawn below you with a particle effect :D

looks good and the music is nice, rated it.

you can rate me too :)

Nice game,

the enemy Ai is a bit too simple I think, bc you can just move backward and spam space and you're probably good for long, and with one enemy and one map, the game could get a bit repetitive.

But its a nice concept, and ofc its a jam, and no one ever has enough time to do everything they wanna do😂

Nice job!

A bit more responsive controls would make this a much better game. Great effort thoughgh. Bravo

Nice game!

A few pretty cool concepts well executed! I found It a bit odd that you could move backwards in a plane like that, but it sorta made sense in this context. I would suggest adding a timer into the bullets that you fire so they despawn after a while. Currently I could just spam space and it would start to lag a bit. Overall though, a really nice vibe to a pretty well executed game. Good work!

Lovely looking game! The controls were a little sensitive for me, but smooth nonetheless.

Nice job ! had fun playing your game :)

Great game! Simplistic but fun!

I liked the vibes. Nice work

I like the vibe of it but I think it could benefit from homing bullets since it's hard to turn around and hit them perfectly. Cool concept!

Developer (1 edit)

you can actually put the plane in reverse using S or the down arrow to fly  backwards

I really like the ambiance of this game. The color palette goes really well with the music and the fact that the main protagonist is the plane. Though, a control scheme and/or objective(s) in the game would be nice. :)

that what i intended but i ended making this in 3 days so its a little rushed

Nice submission to the jam! I flew as far as I could before turning around to a sea of purple monsters and sprayed bullets out at them. Unfortunately this tactic didn't work too well because I was overwhelmed by a sea of enemies. But I was able to kill quite a few of them before I went down. I think speeding up the plane movement would be nice and also putting the enemies on the same axis as your plane so that your bullets don't miss enemies so often. Nice job!

Developer(+1)

if you press w or up arrow you speed up

Submitted

ah dang, not sure how I missed that. I'll give it another try tonight.

I like the soft colors  ~

Soothing little game that looks pretty cool. I laughed when I found out you could put the plane in reverse. Maybe try adding pitch and yaw to make the movement a big more fun. Good work!

I like the visuals, creates a really nice and peaceful vibe! Just found that the nightmares would easily sneak up on you and (considering the instakill) you would die without even knowing what happened.

I found it very soothing, dunno if that was the goal but I enjoyed it

Developer

That is incredible to hear as I was going for a dreamy zen vibe
