Really interesting concept and love the detail of you explaining the science behind it! I think this mechanic makes for some really interesting level design & definitely matches the theme perfectly. I enjoyed the humorous dialogue at the beginning and liked how it was integrated as a clear and helpful tutorial. Background music is great. I also appreciated the small visual details like his expression changing when heating up too much & the balloon string was neat.
Unfortunately the character got stuck at the slope and I couldn't progress. Great job overall though, would be keen to play the rest of the levels after the jam when this is fixed!
Quite challenging & like the overall gameplay! The movement focused and fast paced gameplay is definitely fun. Cool art style and music. I was a bit confused at first as I thought shift wasn't working but then realised dash is meant for only in air. Good job overall, would love to see this developed further!
Yay I made it home!
Love this interpretation of the theme. I like the effect of the fog that scales with the amount of fireflies and the detail that you're not forced to collect a certain amount. The implementation of the camera angles changing is also done well and immediately stood out. Music matches the vibe well. Overall very polished & I had fun. Excellent work!
Love the unique art style & intense music. The art and sound combined achieved a very spooky and uncomfortable atmosphere, well done! The story was well written and interesting, plus the words flickering was a cool effect that worked well with emphasising the idea.
minor feedback: when clicking the items on the couch, it also plays the line for gazing at the couch. Also I wasn't sure if this is intended but I couldn't pick up the cleaning bottle in the kitchen.
Overall, this is a super polished game and cool experience. Very impressive work :)
Cool concept and fits the theme very well. I like the idea that you have to decide whether or not expanding is a good idea as it can't be reversed. The reset level is fast & makes it easy & not frustrating to explore the different options. Personally I like that the game doesn't take itself too seriously and has some troll moments. The player animations and bgm are cool too!
Some feedback would be the physics feels a little floaty. Also minor thing, I was initially using the arrow keys to play but up arrow doesn't work on the ladder.
Overall I had fun! Great job :)
Cool idea and challenging game! I like the character and gun artwork too :) Controls take a while to get used to but rewarding once you get the hang of it. Adding audio + sound would be great but I understand that you ran out of time! Really well done especially considering this is your first game jam/game dev. Good look in your future games!
Such a creative and charming game! Local multiplayer is always cool. The 2D Art and animations are amazing and I liked seeing all the different variations of rats. I can tell a lot of thought was put into this with and loved all the small details like the 'ratopedy'!
I did note that when playing with NPC sometimes they would stop moving and stay on one side of the screen. But overall extremely polished for a jam game, well done!
Rated your game! Would appreciate if you could check out ours https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-11/rate/2535805. Cheers :)

Extremely late reply sorry! But for anyone still wondering (solution below):
Click format -> margins -> wide, and
Format -> font size -> 30
This is meant to show artificially getting it to one page last minute by changing the formatting (and not the content)!
Also add in the student ID in the input box as given in the sticky note.
Hope that's clear for anyone who gets stuck! I know it is not immediately clear that the buttons are clickable.
Thanks for playing!
