This was super dope! The sound effects were excellent and the art was nice. The enemies were a little too tanky but overall a fun experience and a super cool mechanic.

Pretty cool game you got! Would have loved more dramatic (like, more noticable) bow draw. The gameplay gets a bit repetitive over time, but still I had lots of fun playing it!

Played it through to the end, very cool game, I really liked that you gave upgrades for it. If you plan to continue working on it, I would recommend speeding up the arrows quite a bit, as they feel abit sluggish. Overall great entry!!

Hey!

This game is so underrated! I love every bit of it. The gameplay was so smooth and polished, amazing art and effects. It is one of my favorites game from this game jam for sure.

Congrats, you really did an amazing job!

I would love to have you playing mine too, if you don't mind of course! ^_^

This game is so much fun. I spent some time playing and enjoyed it a lot. The art is simple but very beautiful. I got the idea! Well done!

Very nice game, well polished, the controls are really nice, the transition to leaving your body is really cool and it's really fun.

I think being in your physical body should have more benefits than just walking to an altar leaving your body then only going back when you kill all enemies.

Being able to heal would be nice, either by pick-ups or maybe going in your physical body, then you have a nice balance of heal but cannot hurt enemies or hurt enemies but cannot heal

But its a very nice game well done!

Developer

Yeah, great idea. I was thinking about maybe a heal mechanic, but wasn't quite too sure about the balance. Thanks for playing!

I really liked the ghost mechanic you were using for the ability; as well as the health bars on the enemies. Nice work!!

Developer

Thank you! I'm happy with how the ghost mechanic turned out too.

Nice game, really juicy and with great animation, but I will say that there is not much of a reason to switch between the spirit form and the physical form aside from the altars- which is a shame! You could maybe add a radious around the body that the spirit can't go past, or have the enemies target the body instead of the spirit, so you have to move the body around more. Other than that, the gameplay feels really solid.

Developer

Yeah, the comments here have made me really think about what things I could've done with the mechanic, like maybe some sort of shockwave blast attack. Your ideas sound really good too. I did actually think to have the enemies target the body instead of the spirit but I didn't know if it would have been too hard to keep track of everything. Thanks for playing!

too much screen shaking in final stage, but overall preety good game

Developer

Haha yeah I noticed that too, but was too lazy to go back and try to tweak it. Thanks!

The Gameplay and the art style are really great. It is atmohspheric aswell. (The Gameplay is a little bit repetitive, Sadge). Great game. Keep going!

Developer

I'm thinking that maybe I should've cut the time to completion down, but oh well. Thanks for playing!

played it! great use of post processing and particles, main character was cute! the game became stale very quickly, I recommend making the enemies stronger by more then just giving them more numbers, and because the shooting didn't pass through enemies until the very end  the game it became frustrating. Also, the realm switching mechanic didn't do much, maybe try to think about involving it more.  well done on the audio, too, good job.

Developer

Thanks for playing! I agree the progression is not the most well paced. That's a good point about making the enemies more varied - I think because of time I felt the easiest thing to do was to just tweak the numbers but maybe next time I can try to think about varied gameplay from the beginning.
