How does you game fit the theme?
The game is about deceiving your enemies with fake versions of yourself! Distract them, make them solve normally impossible puzzles for you, and more!
❗ The game closes when you press Escape!
Move around while holding shift to create a fake version of yourself. The clone will perfectly follow the movements you record!

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yep! All the code (except open-source code libraries), music (used the Serum synthesizer and the SGM soundfont for the instruments), sounds (public domain Freesound samples were used only when mixed in with my own recordings), and graphics were made from scratch! :3

That was so much fun and it really left me wanting more!
The art and graphics are great, and the movement feels so good and satisfying, especially with the sound design. One small thing is that the game closes when I press escape, which made it a little difficult to adjust the volume as I have to minimize it to do so.
The only thing is I wish there were more longer levels with more complicated solutions, but of course I know we were all short on time XD
This is my favorite platformer I played in this Jam! Really clean looking and nice mechanics. Wish there was more levels!

visuals, sound, music, idea, everything fits perfectly together.
The movement was a bit quick for me but if you make it slower someone else will complain that its to slow so its probably just fine ;)

nice job man real polished game, you could have got more players and ratings if you had made that game for browser. Theme fits real good and great puzzles also, you really put in some hardwork for polishing the game
I can really see the alter ego game mechanic being expanded upon into a much bigger game great work! Really enjoyed this one!
Holy Moly I was blown away!
The music was so great. The art was fantastic. The mechanic was really innovative, great work!!!
The only gripe is that the jump doesn't always jump to the same height I noticed. If I don't press d or s I get less height than if I were moving horizontally.
Very fun platformer. Great "shadow" mechanism implementation too.
Top 5 of my choices. The art is AMAZING, the sounds and music tie it all together and the mechanic of tricking the enemies to solve puzzles is beautiful. 10/10
This was quite an outstanding game, both visually and mechanically! The use of pixel art, particle effects, and post-processing made it look gorgeous and atmospheric. The concept itself was excellent, and I think the execution elevated it even more. My only criticism comes with the audio mixing; the music is really nice, but it's a bit too quiet sometimes, and the jump sound effect is a lot louder than it ought to be. This is definitely a favorite of mine from the jam, and one I could totally see being fleshed out into a full-fledged game. Congratulations and best of luck!

Very clean game! I'm surprised you have so little reviews because the game feels very polished. The platformer movement felt kind of fast, but for some reason it still felt like I had full control over the character. The flying enemies didn't follow my ghost, are they supposed to? Otherwise, great mechanic, theme, and presentation!

flying enemies are made to be "smarter" than the skeletons, but they can be distracted with the fake version of yourself if you get close enough and if they notice you :)
