How does you game fit the theme?
1. Dreams arent real
2. *Spoiler Warning* The Ending( The Dog was never real, it was the protagonists imaginary pet )
3. *Spoiler Warning* The Ending , again ( He is also dead, which means he is a ghost and ghosts dont exist in real life)

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code by myself, some of the Assets in the city were free online assets : www.kenney.nl (rogue like city) and i used the encounter sound from undertale but it sometimes glitches out

A bit weird that you can walk over the building but cool game!

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! I wasnt really sure if i would keep the collider or remove it, because of the perspective of the camera

As mentioned before it needs a bit more polish.Good effort!

I really like the idea of each dream having their own game mechanics! While I really liked the Undertale fight patterns, the hitboxes were much too big for it and the fight was too long.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! I have to admit, that the fight turned out harder than i originally thought

I like all the ideas behind the game. However, I think you need to start a little smaller. A lot of small things were missed such as the player not falling when walking into a wall, making it hard to tell if you missed a jump or not.  With a little extra development, this could defiantly be a great game

thanks for your feedback :D I might continue this game depending on how many people like the game and how many join the discord

Unfortunately, I haven't played Undertale, though it seems this game was much inspired by it. And from what I've seen the Undertale looks, this game does a great job mitigating it. Anyways, great job!

I really liked the game, specially the undertale part (im a huge fan).

Thanks for your feedback! Im a pretty big fan of toby fox too! I started game developing because of him

You implemented quite a lot of stuff! I'm impressed that there are platformer parts, top down parts, fights, and so on all in one game. But I did think the implementation could be more polished--for example, that you can get stuck on the edge of platforms while jumping.

Pixel art tends to look odd if you rotate it (the protagonist's arms and legs). If you do pixel art in the future, I'd suggest you lock the orientation so it doesn't rotate.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! I ended up having not that much time, so i couldnt really polish the game. I intentionally made this "kind" of animation as its basically a reference to my last game jam game and also a bit orientated on a few older game from dani

A little bit difficult jumping in the first mini game, but I like the idea

The hitboxes in the fight with hermes were really big.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! I tried to adjust them to the sprite as good as possbile, but i have to agree the fight was a bit hard for some people, but i didnt thought it was that hard, because i usually do it first try

Great game! Had fun while playing it! The jump is a little  clunky, but other than that,  a very cool game!

Developer

Thanks for your feedback :D

Well, there was a lot of content. The game was pretty non-linear. If I had an issue, that would be the animations.

And kudos to you for implementing a proper save data for a browser game.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! I intentionally added the walking animation, as it was in my last jam game and i thought it was pretty funny, so i kept it

It had more content than I thought! Thank you!

That cloud level is like unwinnable due to the control and physics was so hard. But overall the game was really great! :)

Developer

thanks for your feedback! :D I finished the game 2-4 times to ensure everything is possible, but the cloud level is pretty hard to be honest

Did having a little bit of difficulties with the controls at times but other than that it was a fun game

You can feel the Undertale inspiration from the very start ;) You surely put a lot of work in this project. Thing you can work on is a movement in the platform levels, because it's bugged when you press jump and directions while hitting the wall, you just stuck. Although, it's a nice entry, congrats and keep working! :)

Developer

thanks for your feedback! i didnt removed this "bug" because i thought it may make the game a bit easier

Nice that you basically developed a few different games and put them into one! Not having played undertale made the combat quite difficult.

Developer

thanks for your feedback! I noticed that the fight was hard too. During my testing period i was always beating him in 1-2 tries, so i thought it wouldve been too easy so i even increased the difficulty

Submitted

I enjoyed this very much. It is tied to the theme and has a lot of game concepts in it. I see real effort going into this. Well done!

Nice but the jump is a little faulty, I always get stuck on the platform

Thanks for your feedback! you can hold space btw if you want to do bigger jumps.
