How does you game fit the theme?
You fight bosses that are nightmares.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I did all the code, not the assets.

It took long time, but i killed the first boss.
Too hard boss in my opinion, in general it was fun.
And i have one question: why need i the knife? :)
Check my game, if you can: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-7/rate/14180530
(Sorry for low english)
fun game reminds me of pokemon
It takes a loooong time to kill things lol but aside from that, the game designs still good? the dog took so long to kill and the big slime was cool to fight because of the splashes coming from the right of the screen and the blobs coming from the top of the screen, it just still took so long to shoot a milion arrows lol good game though!
The bosses probably could have been tweaked a little bit more (it can feel like a grind), but strong effort in just 7 days. Good work!
Thanks! I did need some more testing...^^'
Extremely punishing boss fights but fun once you kill them. Congrats on the submission 🎉🎉
Thanks!! Glad you had fun
The bosses felt like sponges, they took way too many hits to kill. That and the fact that you die with one hit made it a little bit frustrating. Hopefully, you made a perfect sound cue for the wolf and the players can know when to dodge the attack. The slime has a blind spot at its right were you can pretty much kill it with your sword without getting hit by its water/hammer attacks. Loved the art of the bosses.
Yeaaaah, i made the hitbox smaller just before doing the build because was too large, maybe i made it too small... thanks for playing and the feedback!!!
Heya, I liked the bossfights! Yes they were a lil punishing but it's always fun to be fighting an enemy that's incredibly stronger than you.
The main character did feel a little "slow". He does have the dash which is my favorite move. It'd be cool if his walking were a little more dynamic too.
Nice job!
Take a look at my game if you're interested :)
I quite liked this one :-)
Thought the game design and theme were pretty cool.
Things I like: really appreciated click-through dialogue, decent dialogue and dialog art/panels, decent music/sfx, arrows limited range, arrows turning left/right/up/down, and letting the player restart the wolf battle.
Things I thought could be improved: graphics, rotating arrows more precisely, limiting the melee range and area of effect more, bunny killed animation, the progress of bunnies killed shown, and the wolf's health really big.
Thought it was a cool game with some nice designs and assets. Would love to see your work in the future with this or other games! Nice work!
I apreciate the feedback, thanks^^
I love this game man
keep it up
Very nice game I loved it.
Altough at first it seemed like a very random game, it's actually quite fun when you start playing it and I played through the whole thing. Two things to maybe consider next time:
-make the game a little less punishing, if you get hit only once at e.g. the slime, it is quite frustrating to have to do the whole fight all over again
-try polishing the game a bit more, maybe get feedback by friends or family, so people actually give your game a chance and discover how fun it can be
Overall a very solid jam submission, especially the music was very good,
keep it up!
Thanks!! I was thinking of making it 3 lives, probably would have put that in if i had time to test it with friends, but I finished the game 2 hours before deadline sadly, i really apreciate the feedback!
