How does you game fit the theme?
It is about a dream of a boy who struggle with math and art in school.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
No, I used free asset from Unity Asset store

The mashup of different visual styles was an interesting decision and it worked for the most part! I especially liked the backgrounds, although it was hard to navigate and keep track of where I was and where I could drop down in the first level. The platforming worked well enough and the fetch quest-y nature of the game wasn't revolutionary but not terrible either
Nice entry for a first game jam
Well done for your first Jam. I enjoyed the animation and the controls were very smooth.
The idea is very clever and I like how you collect levels as art. Well done.
This game was very cute. I got stuck on the evil frogs. The vibe is really cool and I love how wierd the scientist looked compared to everything else. Good job (:
Good start. Liked the style of sketches that fit the theme as well. And it was funny that I saw the character's head sprite floating like cotton lol.
So I enjoyed the map and the ideas behind it, great work on that! unfortunately in the evil frog part, I got stuck in a pit at the top left and got soft-locked :( The Player movement felt really smooth and the whole thing felt like a dream, so I think you nailed that! In future projects, I'd recommend breaking the game into smaller chunks for the player, so maybe only one or two coin missions, or a checkpoint system for the frogs.
One last thing to note is that the square hit boxes felt a bit unnatural given the hand-drawn aesthetic, so maybe incorporate minor improvements on that too.
All in all, this is a great first project, and more importantly a great building block to make even better games/projects in the future, so keep up the good work and stick to it!
I like how you managed to join those assets together so it looks cohesively. That's a really cute game, congrats on a nice entry! Cheers ;)
Sadly, the game doesn't finish loading.
Loved the hand drawn sketches. Very fun experience. Great work :D
I really sorry, but the game doesn't seem to be loading for me :(
I'm having a hard time believing that this is actually your first game: the screenshots look amazing!
Cheers, and good luck in the jam :)
I am sorry to hear that!
Well, about a first game, I have made "Brackeys" Cube Racing game before this one, following his great tutorial, but I don't consider that "my" game. Beside that I have started many different projects, from none of them had any future, beside just exploring unity. And this, Dream Knight, was perfect way for me to finish one project!
Yes, I meant finished project :D
Your talent is incredible if this is your first ever finished original game you made, at least it’s much better than mine haha
Cool game, but I felt it lacked a bit of direction at times. I liked the artstyle a lot. Fun overall!

I really liked this! Considering that this is your first game I think you did an amazing job! I especially like the mix of real drawings and digital ones.
Keep up the good work!
Hi, I only see a black image with the player in the center moving but going nowhere... Should I do something there? I don't see anyone else had the same issue so not sure if I am doing something wrong.
Thanks for the advices!
Hi! Just go to the right, when you see a board with "W", stay in front of it and press "W" on keyboard, and the adventure will begin!
I was using the arrows that way it didn't work :D. Using AWSD is OK! Great art & music!! Simple gameplay but well presented! Specially being the first game! Thanks for sharing!
I liked the art. I think you did well for your first game.
Cool game, I enjoyed the marker background and was surprised by how long the game was. Felt pretty hard at times but you still made a neat game
Good job :)
Really nicely done! The art style and music suits the game well and is very relaxing. Awesome job especially for your first game!
Enjoyed your game , really liked art style and music :)
Nice job !
misic is awsome, character animation is interesting,,, although the story talking make me fell some confused : )
