the game is just core concept is literately a large fetch quest web.

but the fact you can colour tiles is great but i would've like the ability to paint beneath the tiles.

the most threatening object are the boxes that change the colour chosen and the most threatening colour box is the underground blue box which when you fail to dodge forces you to the tower.

i would've like the ability to colour boxes and tree trunks.

ladders  feel like ground rather than for lack of a better word ladders and that it doesn't let you go down.

the UI design gives a sense of progress.

also the NPCs have a higher sprite than players.

i wonder what co-op will be? :thinking:

It seems like a fun game. Movement is not that smooth, not sure if that was intentional.

Coloring things was reaally fun! That is such a good mechanic and really well implemented. There could've been a bit more to it though! More things happening when things got colored in the right color maybe.

The backtracking wasn't that fun and the ladders were a bit wonky, but I had fun just painting things and that is what counts for a game, right?

This is a really fun game! I really enjoyed running around and painting literally everything I could haha. I could easily see this game expand, it is a great idea with simple mechanics that leads to amazing fun. I will say though, I had a few collision issues with the ladders acting like walls and not letting me walk past them.

Wow super cool mechanic, love the paint gun! Coloring the background (with multiple colors at the same time!) was a great gameplay idea too!

Cool game! Did a lot of backtracking before reading on the game page that I could just change colors by pressing a key (actually saved me because I wasn't able to reach the green color at the top...). Clean visuals and interesting take on the theme, and also the painting mechanic is pretty fun! Your game reminded me a bit of Chicory: A colorful tale, good job!

Very cute! I love the painting mechanic, but I would like a way to go down a ladder. Regardless, really nice, fun game!

Very nicely done - this would be fun as a multiplayer game!

Really interesting and clever game mechanic. Also, I think that this mechanic could potentially be extended into other things as well (perhaps puzzles) which would make the game even more interesting.  

I do think that the character movement needs a bit of improvement as it doesn't feel particularly smooth. Also, the ladder colliders and movement could use some improvements as well.

Other than that though, this was a great game!

Okay. This game wasn't fun to play at all. It's really sad too because you could have done something really cool with that pain mecanic.

I love the idea, you can develop this game in so many ways! Like adding puzzles where you have to color some blocks the right way to step on them/pass the level. I wish the ladders work better since it seemed a bit cluncky. Nice thing is that you can color the map according to your liking. 

A nice interpretation of the theme with good controls and a fun mechanic of coloring stuff in the game. Though it would have been nice if coloring the blocks had a purpose. Still a nice and fun little game.

Some really nice ideas, and a very pleasant interpretation of the theme. A little underbaked in terms of mechanics, there's definitely a lot of unexplored vision, but what's there is enjoyable and polished. Good work!
