How does your game fit the theme?
Reaching the portal at the end of the level will result in the level rotating, finding you needing to complete it again. Thus beginning anew after the end.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All of the code is my own, most of the assets are free (credited) or owned (credited)

A Jam game where controller input is not just there, but encouraged?! I don't see those too often!

The graphics and music were awesome.

The game controlled super well and I was, honestly, unnecessarily happy that there was coyote time.

It was also pretty hard, but the fact that there's a death counter means that this game knows its audience, which is always a plus!

The only thing I can really nitpick is the fact that in cutscenes, I think only PlayStation buttons were used. I was using an Xbox Controller to play this game and that was a little weird. Maybe some sort of setting would fix this.

But this is a super polished game and an excellent entry to this jam! Super good job!

Developer

Thank you for playing and for the feedback.  Xbox support was there but it was kind of buried in the "controls" screen.  I mapped the buttons but I probably should have made them more visible and tested more.  Most people don't play with a controller, sadly I design with a controller as I hate KB/Mouse lol.   I am glad you were able to play with a controller as that is definitely the preferred way, which is a sadly a design flaw for game jams lol.   Again, thank you for the detailed feedback, it all goes in my developer notes so I can learn for the next time!

Really nice game and with and interesting twist to the theme of the Jam. I died a lot in the 3rth level being throw by saws, thank you for not sending me back to the main menu each time I died 😂😂 I was playing on my keyboard and maybe it didn't help much (taking into account the disclaimer about playing with controller). Over all nice game, good looking and fun. 🎊 Congrats 🎉🎉🎉

Thank you for playing and for the feedback.   Yea that level was rough.  It needed more time in the oven.  I ran out of play testing time lol.    Thanks again for playing!

Pretty cool game, I love the character design, that little ninja turtle is so cute, The music and sound effects are very good too, and the level design is very clever, turning the map upside down gives you a new entire level. Very good job!

Developer

Thank you for playing and thank you for the feedback!   Much appreciated.

Fun little platformer! The player accelerates a little too fast so its hard for making small movements but nonetheless a very good entry.

Developer

Thank you very much for the feedback and for playing my game.  I will make note of that feedback should I decide to take the game further.

A few bugs on the spawning of sprites, an uneven difficulty of some level (lvl 3 is frustrating) but it was a good game! I think it would fit the theme more if we were restarting where the portal was, and no teleporting somewhere else.

Developer

Thank you for playing and I appreciate the feedback!  I will make note of that.

Very polished entry!!! Graphics and sound are really good, the whole level turning mechanic is very innovative and fitting for the theme. UI was beautiful, controls were responsive, lifes were infinite. Just amazing.

Great work!!
