How does your game fit the theme?
You are a mage after a boss battle. After death, the boss makes the player attack themselves.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Everything except the music

This is, like, a MMO boss pattern trainer
When I first played this, I was so confused about what to do, because you didn't even told me how to play this. But I really liked your idea.
Love the concept and the game would have just loved for a better way to explain the game at the start but well done!
Quite an original idea. Where you're essentially making bullet hell for yourself. The idea itself is cool but the theme of the GameJam could have been described better. Add more cards and fix bugs with mana (as it is strange that the choice of card and cast card wastes mana)
I'm impressed with the amount of work you were able to accomplish in such a short amount of time. It's clear that you were able to focus and create something really cool within the time constraints of the game jam.
Nice concept
This is a nice game and mind blowing game good work
would you try out my game and rate it according
Interesting game and design. Probably just me but I honestly had no idea how to play. I just kept getting a you lost screen no matter what spells I cast.
Super innovative gameplay, choosing the attack cards and evading them afterwards. It seems like a type of game that could be explored with some random "roll of the dice" shenanigans. I like that you have to spend your mana and can't just wait around, so you really have to be clever to pick your poison. Top marks for innovation IMO.
Good choice of music, and I think SFX would really shine in this game (to give weight to the attacks)
Maybe one way to make the game harder at the end would be accumulating debuffs, because once you learn all the patterns, it does get a bit easy. But overall, great experience.
Good job!
Thanks a lot for your review!
a nice little card game I like it! i think its a bit off the theme but otherwise a cool entry
Thank you!
