As a space fan, I'm sold, I love this so much. Just taking all the 15 of the planets was time consuming but other than that I love it so much ^^
How many hours did it take to code this game?
The art and music really sold me, and seeing the giant black hole was really cool. wish the ship turned a bit faster though.
Great game! I really enjoyed it!
Fun game, and congrats for your first jam! Turning around took a bit too much time, but otherwise the game is a nice idea, and it fits the theme well too. Well done!
nice game bro !
I really enjoyed the art style. For the Game Jam purpose, I think towing 15 planets was a little boring, I suggest dropping that to 5 planets until you have more mechanics in the game. I thought the way the ship towed the planets was funny (in a good way). The turning radius of the ship was very large so it took a long time to change directions, I think this could be tightened up to make turning easier. The story setup was pretty funny. In the end, I did decide to save the humans and tow earth into the black hole...I hope the stardust helps.
Nice submission and good use of theme.
Pretty cool concept. Some enemies or obstacles would've made the game a little more intense.
Yes, the enemies planned
Amazing art, and congrats on your first game-jam game!
Really cool art and game concept. Well done!
Well done on making your first game-jam game! :)
What I really liked was the idea, art, and music. Really well done in making you game beautiful and sound exciting :)
What I thought could be better is the game loop. While it's fun to fly around in space, I thought the task was too big and repetitive at first.
One way to fix it is maybe to make the ship more easily maneuverable/faster so that it goes quicker, or to simply lower the number of planets to collect from 15 to maybe 3 on the first level. And then add like 3 levels at least for a game-jam entry. And depending on the time you could've maybe even added some variety in difficulty/tasks/obstacles.
Just wanted to give you some things I found could improve the game and what you can take with you to your next project :)
Well done!
Thanks :) and thanks for the tips!
Really good game, especially if this is your first game jam
But I did not like the gameplay loop :( The idea that you can turn only when are going forward makes the game slow and repetitive
Also, please play my game, thx! :D
Thanks for playing!
Yes, I know it too monotonous, but I wont able to finish some interactions with specific planets, because every planet have a specific story which sadly won't in the game :(
Nice game, especially if this is your first jam one! As for feedback, I disliked the fact that you cant turn the spaceship whilst not moving forward. Otherwise nice visuals, and art-style.
Yes, it was deliberate. After the Jam I made the space ship tuning faster.
