I beat the void blob! I liked some of the visuals (especially the blob), but the controls were a little janky, it definitely felt weird having the character being slower than the mouse and that made it sometimes hard to dodge. Other than that, very solid entry.
I think it fitted the theme really well, the whole mechanic of the room opening and closing doors was pretty interesting, definitely would have loved to see a few more levels and a few more blobs! great entry though.
Interesting controls and fits theme very well :)
Thanks!
It's got a cool atmosphere especially with the soundtrack. We be interested to see where you take the story next. Good work!
Thanks for the compliment!
I like the use of the theme here. The bullets could have been a lighter color, as they were very hard to see against the black background.
Thanks for the feedback, that's one thing I should really change after the jam.
Thank you for playing!
I really like the idea of a constantly-shifting hole you have to shoot through, but I feel like if it had smoother movement the game would be a lot more fun. My main issues is the fact that the character doesn't perfectly line up with the mouse and moves to it pretty slowly, and that the bullets are hard to see since they're grey or dark colored on a black or gray background.
Still a pretty alright game, though. definitely needs a lot more work.
Thanks for the feedback, I'll most likely change the movement after the jam is finished and try to change the bullet color, thanks for playing!
I did enjoy the game, the bullet patterns were interesting and kept me on my toes. The idea of moving your mouse to move is not one I have seen. My main complaint is that sitting under that barrier left me not moving or doing much which started to get boring. There was also a strange bug where sitting at the bottom causes you to not shoot bullets.
Thanks for the feedback, I did find that bug myself but I couldn't find a way to fix unfortunately.
Thanks for playing though!
