I really like the use of the theme here. The constant switching between genres and unlocking new ones makes for a fun experience. I also like the humor. I did feel like some of the sprites were inconsistent in style, but I understand that it's a game jam so time is limited. Good job overall!

I would be grateful if you checked out my submission as well.

Sometimes simple games are the most fun, and I think this game shows that. The chaotic crowd control aspect is fun, and I like the graphics and music as well. The different modes added nice variety too. Good job!

I would really appreciate it if you checked out my submission as well :)

This game was pretty fun! I like the funny concept and use of the theme, and the phase mechanic makes for some interesting platforming. I think the background could use some scrolling or a parallax effect of some sort, but that's a minor criticism. Nice job!

This was a lot of fun! I've seen some other people in the comments mentioning the controls, but I didn't mind them too much. I also liked the graphics and audio. Although the story is brief, really in a game jam any story is a good story. Overall quite a good submission.

This is one of the best games I've played so far in this jam. I really like the unique interpretation of the theme, and while short it was still well-made and scary. This seems strange to say but I also liked the way the UI appeared in the world instead of just being an overlay on the screen. Overall one of my favorite submissions. Great job!

Nice job! I like the fast-paced gameplay and the over-the-top juiciness gives this a unique feel. I also like the simple graphics and the fast-paced music. The implementation of the theme allows for a more interesting gameplay style as you have to think about your current mode instead of just shooting everything in sight. Fun game!

I'm glad you liked it!

Yeah the mode thing is something I thought of, but I ran out of time before I could do anything about it. I'm glad you liked it though!

Yeah the fire is pretty OP lol. Glad you enjoyed it!

This was hilarious! It made me nostalgic, as a long time ago I actually made a game very similar to this one. Also, I can't believe I didn't think of using light/dark mode for the theme. 10/10

Good job! The classic tower defense gameplay plays well and I love the intro. It did feel a bit repetitive at times but it's a game jam so time to make content is always limited. Nice game!

Good job! Some of the situations I found myself in were really interesting, and I liked the contrast between slow puzzle gameplay and fast rhythm at the end was fun. Overall good job.

Nice job! The idea is so simple but the execution is great. New ideas are introduced periodically to keep things fresh, and the alternate player and the magenta were very fun to try to figure out. Movement in the isometric level is difficult sometimes but I didn't mind too much. Overall a great submission.

I really enjoyed how the lack of jumping turns seemingly simple levels into cool puzzles! The visual style is simple but there's nothing wrong with that, it adds clarity in a game like this. I enjoyed this game, good job.

GTA V if it was good

In all seriousness though, I actually did have a lot of fun playing this. The movement was fast but also tight and easily controllable, and the graphics are simple and enjoyable. I do wish there was a way to rotate the camera, but that's a small complaint compared to the fun I had playing this. Good job!

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked it.

I really enjoyed this one! The graphics and music are nice, and having to deal with multiple modes at once is a nice twist. The last level was quite a challenge but very fulfilling in the end. My only criticism is that the jumping feels a little floaty at times, but I see others have pointed that out already and it's far from a large issue. Overall this was a great submission.

This was super fun! The concept is very unique and the presentation is great. I know this isn't really a "horror" game, but it did unironically feel scary at times trying to escape from the werewolf. I think the furniture being hard to position properly adds to the game as well, as it makes setting up a good situation for yourself harder and more interesting. Great submission!

Good game! I've never been good at racing games, so I was unable to beat the hard AI, but I had a lot of fun regardless. The mode switching makes the game feel fast-paced, and I enjoyed trying to figure out which parts of the track I should drift on. Overall great job!

This was super fun! A clever twist on the genre and I liked the graphics and music. Eventually getting a huge ring of guns felt like good progression, but the early game was fun too because of how I had to think about where my one gun was shooting and position myself based on it. The usage of the theme is stretched a little thin, but that's really my only criticism. Great job!

Nice job! This game, although short, was funny and I like the concept of switching modes halfway through the game. And what's a jam game without some stuff that had to be cut due to time? Overall, I had fun playing this.

aw man! Sorry to hear that. Was it immediate or later in the game?

I love this! The game is simple yet interesting. I like the enemy variety and the pixel art as well. My only criticism would be that other than Big, my playstyle didn't seem to change very much between the different modes. I still had a lot of fun though, good game overall.

This was fun! I enjoyed the different modes, especially switching between reverse gravity and normal gravity to fly up and down through the air. The mode that can see secret blocks reminds me of the golems from Mario Odyssey :) Cool game!

Super fun! I love a good golf game, and this is one of the most polished games I've played so far in this jam. I also like the unique twist on the 2d golf genre, and some of the levels were really interesting and challenging. Nice job!

Yeah, the browser version works fine! I ended up completing it and had a lot of fun.

That's interesting! I do think the way the powerups are now is more unique, so nice job.

Cool game! I like the way the 3d tiles look, and the green ladder things were a cool way to add verticality to the environment. I'm not sure if this was intended, but I discovered that I could climb them super fast by holding jump. I'm not complaining though.

This is one of my favorite submissions so far. Obviously the graphics and audio were great, but the randomized modes and the way they combine together also added a lot to the experience. Sadly, my game crashed after level 8, so I was unable to complete it, but I had a lot of fun anyway. 10/10 for me.

Better than Red Dead Redemption 2. In all seriousness, I did actually think this was quite fun despite it's simplicity. The different modes were fun and I love the enemy's goofy death animation. Obviously there's not much content, but the fundamentals are solid. Good job!

Good game! The artstyle is charming and it was fun to fly around the map. The music is simple but surprisingly catchy. I would recommend maybe zooming the camera out a little bit so that the player doesn't run into spikes so suddenly, but other than that it's a great game. Good job!

Very nice! I appreciate the amount of polish put into the particles, sounds, etc. The art is nice as well and the mode switching adds a fun element of chaos. At first I didn't even notice the food on the ground as it kind of blends in, I would recommend changing the colors or even adding an outline to make it more visible. Great game though!

This game has potential. I like the clever acronym, and the graphics and ideas are nice. I died a few times, but was eventually able to beat it. One thing I would suggest is to add some particles or sounds when the enemies are killed, so that it really has that juice that a melee-based combat game needs. I did have fun playing it though!

I would be grateful if you checked out my submission as well.

What this game lacks in graphics it makes up for in charm and humor. A lot of the jokes and (literal) fourth wall breaks were quite funny, and the editor mode mechanic was a nice way to use the jam theme. If I had one suggestion, it would be to add more checkpoints around the map, especially right before some of the troll parts. I still had fun regardless though.

I would appreciate it if you checked out my submission as well :)

I had a blast playing this one. I love all the fun touches like pushing the customers around and knocking stuff off the shelves, and the gameplay itself is interesting and fun. I like the unique use of the theme as well. Overall nice game.

The one-shot made this game quite hard, but I appreciate a good challenge. I like the way you turned the common "mode-switching" idea from this jam into something unique by using the element system. It was also a nice touch to give the different player modes different attack methods. Overall quite fun and I could see it becoming even better if you decide to update it over time.

I had fun with this! It reminds me a lot of Snakeybus, and the graphics with the sunset and everything were nice. I love the over-the-top physics as well.

This is probably my favorite submission I've played so far. The retro graphics are great, and the many small touches and jokes spread through the game add so much personality. 5/5!

This game is too hard for me😭😭😭 I was unable to beat it but i did like some of the sprites and sound effects. The punch sound is hilarious

I enjoyed this game! It reminds me of Vampire Survivors, but I like the added mechanic of turning your different weapons on and off. With more content and polish I could see this becoming quite the game.
