I would recommend removing any calculations for the player's movement and instead just let the player move the ship directly. Solid control always makes better for a shmup. Aside from that (and the second boss mishap), wonderful job to both of you! The boss art and random attack patterns were great to see.

I really liked this and was excited to play it. The music rocks and drives the game. The visuals are pretty sleek, and the mechanics are easy enough. Some things off the bat. I didn't quite catch onto how the 10 second theme fit into the game. Maybe it's the length of time between each wave/attack cycle? There was also no clear indication that I was hitting or dealing damage to any of the targets which made me feel like I wasn't accomplishing anything. That hurt the game a bit which is why I docked a couple of stars which I'd gladly give back once those are fixed :)

There's also a bug: I died on the second boss and on restart it wouldn't shoot at me.

I think I bugged the 2nd boss as he didn't attack after I lost and started again on the second level. Other than that the art was really cool and probably my favorite of the more classic bullet hell games this jam. I also liked the slower pace and 3x lives allowing me to find the correct movement patterns.

Good art, fun to play, fitting audio and challenging but also not frustrating. Really good game only thing I have to nitpick about are the controls. Unfortunately the way the player moves felt a bit "wrong" sometimes.

Cool game and i really like the spritework, that space dragon looks sick : D

I really like that you made it a 3 hit instead of 1 hit kill, it helps better learning the attack patterns.

Even though there's a health bar to indicate the bosse's hp i feel it would help to have a bit more visual feedback on their sprite as well to tell that the shots do in fact deal damage.

Other than that that was fun and i like the idea of this being a boss rush only thing.

Good job to the team :)

Great Art Style. Super Creative to take the Horroscope as the basis for bosses. The Patterns looked flashy and grogeous but were not to challanging.
Moving felt okay - but if you commit to long to moving around you start to speed up harshly and that felt a bit off.

I loved it! Only thing I think would make it better would be a lower movement speed for the player, it can be a bit much sometimes.

Cool boss fights! Was quite challenging for me though ;)

First off, the patterns on the dragon boss are amazing! So fun, creative and beautiful, and they’re a test of your observation and creativity rather than quick reflexes. The sprites are beautiful. What I’m really missing is some indication that you’re actually hitting the boss. Some sound effects would be nice, maybe even flash the parts of the boss that are vulnerable. Better feedback to the player means you can do even more interesting things, like specific weak spots. You already have sound cues for at least some of the boss attacks, which is good.

In summary: Fun and very polished game, but needs work on player feedback.

the game is great buthe sprite size really bother me since the boss and ur character doesnt match resolution . but overrall it was fun

Nice choice of graphics and very nice fights. Only note for the movement of the spaceship, the low friction of it doesn't help over the patterns.

This was pretty fun!  I like the art and the controls felt good unless i moved too fast then the low friction would throw me off sometimes-but still had a good time playing it! Some really nice bullet patterns too -great work! :D

Some really nice ideas here! Randomized enemy attacks add some nice replayability and I especially liked the three-headed dragon fight. Visuals and audio both worked really well.
