This is so cool, I adore the psx art style so much, it reminds me of Silent Hill! The sound design makes for such  a good atmosphere too. Love the character design too, looks like a cool cowboy, I love when cosmic horror and the wild west come together!

Hah, that cowboy look of protagonist came out by accident but I agree it looks cool! Thanks for your review :D

Nice entry overall, i read the about section of your itch page and understood the difficulty of learning and trying to deliver a game as i always try to do the same and it gets really challenging.

The vibe the game had was great for me, loved the PSX graphics and the fixed camera, something you dont see much often nowadays. The controls were sometime hard to handle but i understand it was part of the learning.

Loved the ambience and music, got me in the mood from the start. Just to aim to a max score i think adding SFX would've being great, at least the steps and interact sounds.

Sometimes text was too long and hard to read, but i engaged with the story. Too bad it seems unfinished. At least the game "ends" in a thank you screen and i think thats fair.

It seems that with the assets and the work you had until that very end, you needed a little more time to end at least a couple more loops to deliver the project perfectly with a story.

Besides all of this, you guys did a really good job!

Wow, thanks for long review! I appreciate it.

About the notes, later I noticed that whenever you enter full screen mode, the UI breaks because I designed it for 640x480 resolution and aspect ratio.

I want to make something more expanded and story rich with my group of friends so stay tunned :)

You have really captured the feel of PSX horror games. It's currently a bit light on content, but the basics are very solid. Keep up the good work!

Thanks

Neat little entry. Liked the art style. Took me a second to get used to the tank controls tho.

I gotta say you really nailed the style of the PSX era third person horror games. Even the controls were slightly frustrating when the camera angle changed just like back in the day lol. I only ended up being able to walk around and read notes and then woke up from my nightmare. I read on the game page that you ran out of time to implement things, so hopefully I managed not to miss anything in my playthrough. If you end up developing more story and gameplay let me know and I'll come back for another go!

Thanks for playing and feedback. I want to do something more about this game in future so stay tunned ;)

The graphics of this game are pretty cool! I loved the retro Silent Hills-inspired aesthetic, with the low resolution and fixed cameras and all xD. The ambience was also great!

I had some trouble following the story, especially by the end.  At times the player speed was also a bit too slow. I think that if you tweaked the speed a bit and added some more notes scattered in the world to polish the story some more, this would be a pretty amazing game :).

Still, it was a very cool experience overall and I enjoyed it :)

Thanks for feedback :) Unfortunately I haven’t much time to implement more story-telling aspects. However I have plans for future to expand this concept a little bit.
