I really really love the art and location design! That fence made of matches is just something else! The puzzles a clever and clear and the ending is fun! Pathfinding could use some work, based on walking around in the tree house, that pillow was messing with me when I tried to leave! Also, I must say, for this type of game, I think holding LMB for walking is not that intuitive, prolly better to just click and let the character walk there, or click RMB to walk and LMB to interact. Awesome job on the atmosphere tho, nice game overall!
Nice game! Loved the goofy art style. Great job!
Funky art style! A pretty straight-forward point-and-click, though I do wish there's more story? Maybe more commentary on the stuff we find around the house...though I guess I'm just a sucker for stories hehe. This has been fun anyway! —Jay
Thanks so much!! We might have bitten off a little more than we could chew for our first game jam! lol We definitely intended to have some other items you could interact with for some more story telling. Maybe we'll keep workin on it now that the jam is over and add more. Glad you enjoyed it! ^_^
Totally fair criticism. We ran out of time on the audio portion. We only had a few days to work on this because of prior commitments. Hopefully we have more time in the next jam for polish.
This is adorable, and bonus points for a fellow mouse lover! My main feedback is to be mindful of what resolution you're using. When some assets' pixels are larger than others', it makes the world feel less cohesive. It was a very cute game, though, and I had fun playing through it! :-)
Thanks! Glad you liked it over all. We are so pumped to finally have a Jam entry, even if it isn’t as good as we wanted it to be. We ran out of time on a number of things including the art so we had to take some shortcuts. But just wait until you see our next game 😉
Ayyy finally got a chance to play your game after following you on Twitch (Ameripon here!) Great entry! I did find a few bugs and hiccups with the climbing, but now I see how all the pieces fit together! So cool to finally get a chance to play it after watching you guys build it on stream. But after solving the great mystery all I got was STINKY cheese!!!
AMERIPON! Thanks so much for all the support and for hanging out in chat. We’ll be back streaming soon. We had so much fun on this jam and glad to see you entered as well. Excited to check your game out. Stay in touch!
very good art (although it's sometimes a bit messy), great point&click elements, and i loved the environnements! fun game!
this is amazing, really fits the detective mystery theme well! very nice, loved the art as well :)
I liked the art style a lot though some parts looked a bit more unfinished than others and mixing of the pixel densities made it kind of look uncohesive but this is something to be proud of. the small inventory is perfect for the short style of the game. great work on this
Wasn't really a fan of the artstyle but it's an enjoyable experience. Also 10/10, Gundam
That was fun! I really liked the artwork. Good job on the inventory system. The riddles were easy to understand (thats a good thing). Also the ending did not dissapoint! :D
Wooo hoo! First jam in the bag! This was such a fun jam. Hope you all had as much fun as we did. Please feel free to leave feedback and let us know if you find any bugs. Happy to get them fixed up after the Jam. Thanks!
